How do you think you have changed from when you were, say 20?

Wow - 5 views and no response. OK, I'll kick off even though I AM NOT 30 YET!! I'm clinging on to my 29 for as long as I can.

I guess I'm looking forward to being 30 even if it's just for the big party and all that attention - haha. Granted some of it will be jibes from others about being over the hill, but sod it - there's nothing I can do about it, so I may aswell enjoy it.

As for how I've changed from 20 - 30, I'd say I'm a lot less pissy, I know what I want from life and I see the funny side of things that would probably have wound me up 10 years ago. I think I'm a better person now than I was. I'm more confident, I speak my mind if I know I'm right, and people actually bloody listen. Well, when I say they listen, I mean IRL - here on DF is another ball game. I'm smart enought to differentiate between here and RL, so if something pisses me off here, I turn off the computer, haha, I'm not one for arguments unless they are tongue-in-cheek.

Oh - yea, and I always contradict myself, that hasn't altered, I think that's my Libran side though, and another reason why I don't get into arguments

I'm having a blast since I turned 30 (excluding the nasty little hiccup bit).

Granted I ran and hid from 30 but the little bugger found me.

I'm more self-aware and self-assured. I know how to make people happy, I understand commitment, how to truly love. I also appreciate a good time more - I don't have to get totally wasted.

I think I'm more of a sensual person now.

I can take care of me and mine better.

lol you 2................ i have to agree with alot of what Idle has said. Also to add to it I have become alot more open and secure since i have turned 30, i guess its the time to really find yourself and experiment alot more. All those things you didnt do while growing up, now its the time to do it!!

I've calmed down mostly since 20. I really feel like I have control over my life now. (except for getting my heart broken)
I am not at where I had hoped myself to be though, so that's one big regret I'll have when I hit 30 in 4 months.

At 25yo I was old enough to pickup dates with the older attractive thirtysomething women. Still young enough to date 18-22yo hotties too. 25yo was awesome!

Get older and doors close. The college girls (18-22yo) are as attractive as they always have been, but at 35yo I have no business picking up the young ladies anymore.

I wish I could stay 25yo forever.

age is just a number. most people take it for too much. i like to flirt now as much as ever. just a little better at is, considering i've had years more practice. the biggest limiting factor is people seem to be settled down and married a lot more in the 30's that in thier 20's.
