Oh, yeah, I have some sort of Social Anxiety thing (claustrophobia, only with people surrounding you). And I absolutely get completely withdrawn (like an animal about to strike) when I'm surrounded by people making noise. Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

Oh, I went to the doc today, and got a neurologist recommended; the doc I saw said that I very probably have Tourette's. Yay. Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

Do you know you have Social Anxiety Disorder? It could simply be the propaganda from those companies thats influenced you. I'd watch how you're told about/decide you have things...because thats how it happens with everyone. Hope things turn out well in that way for you, though. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

i have a severe case of clinical depression that has been medicated for nearly two years now. if i forget to take my meds, i trip out and try everything in my power to kill myself. i'll constantly cry for absolutely no reason. it's just absolutely terrible. i'm also bi-polar. that's not completely confirmed, something my doctors assume because to accurately diagnose that, they'd have to lock me up and take me off the medicine to observe me. and that's just not happening. i hate being in large crowds of people. doesn't matter how big the space is. i have this awful fear of calling or just generaly talking to people i don't know. i'm completely paranoid when it comes to being on the street by myself at night. i'm a little woman... and well... you know. i have these frequent headaches. anytime something is wrong with me, it manifests itself through my head. i have tendonitis in my knees along with osgoodschlaugter. and i've been wearing bifocals since i was 11. i'm also an asthematic smoker who has skin allergies to everything outside. i'm on six different medications... and i know, despite what thefinalw0rd says, i need them in order to get along. i know first hand what happens when i don't take my meds. it's not even psychological either. i can forget all about my medications and just cry for hours on end, falling back so quickly into old habits... even after extensive therapy. i have a chemical imbalance within my body. as for my physical ailments, i'd die without my singulair... it's my only way to keep my lungs active and my claritin, i could live, but i don't think i'd be very happy... all itchy and bumpy. i need my pain killers... or i'd be a VERY cranky little thing....
yeah, hehe
blessed be,

I hope it helps. "You want something to be concerned about??? Well, I have a Knife to my throat. Why you ask?

Though I've been diagnosed with depression, I feel more like I've been diagnosed with humanity. I get really sad when I have reasons to be sad. I used to cut myself when I was a teen, but then I realized that was retarded. I get really happy when I have reasons to be happy, and the depression doesn't mess with that. Tried meds for 9 years, went off em because I wanted to, and haven't felt a difference.
I think depression might just be a big money-making scheme by Mr. Prozac.

Good for you, Anti. You saw through it, and I applaud you. Some people it genuinely DOES help...but it is just a scheme.
Create a class of people WILLING to be sick. "Oh, this must be what's wrong with me." And they have acheived their goal very well.
No offense to anyone who is on the meds...just another POV. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

I refuse meds, but I'm considering checking into a mental ward.
I'll explain later... I've just been feeling very fucked up in the head lately. Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

Of course, you can answer yourself back, sort of...though thats more of a realization than anything else...
"What's this?"
"Oh, you lost that last week."
"I should have looked here..."
Thats not TOO bad...but if they're very different voices, I'd think about it... Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

I was diagnosed bi-polar/obsessive compulsive, but i think they were wrong.... I have since learn to control my depression without the aide of medication and my need to straighten things has pretty much subsided.
If I had a serious mental disorder, I don't believe I'd be able to cure myself. Our culture aquires a love design. Left naked with nothing but ourselves and contempt for what we are not supposed to be, not supposed to feel, not supposed to see. I will embrace you... We are all beautiful

I wouldn't recommend it.....unless, of course, you just need to get away for a few weeks.
They're all pretty much like mild prisons...you get breakfast, lunch, dinner.....group therapy about twice daily...and bedtime's at 9.
