maternity clothes
FriendshipDiscuss maternity clothes in the Welcome forums; I turns out, that they suck. I've looked, I won't need any for a few months yet, but I've not liked most of what i've seen.
...
i also found no cool maternity clothes while pregged out with my twins... so i made them... i am fortunate enough to have learned to design my own patterns and sew from my grandmother who was an awsome seamstress (rest her soul)... anyway, you are lucky to be pregnant in the summer so you can show off your belly with crop tops and open buttoned shirts... i think it is sooooo cute when i see an expecting mom bust out with one of the little belly showers! when you due?
I need more money and power, and less shit from you people!

To hell with your god... He strung up his own son, imagine what he will do to me.

The fashion world definitely lacks in cool maternity clothing. I've been searching the net for anything decent. I came across this one site that has baby stuff, even a gothic diaper bag!
Yes, i looked there. When i was doing a search for hippy+maternity, it gave me that site. I think i'm going to have to do tie-back dresses, and throw a sweater over them in the winter. I'm due in Feb, we think.
As I get older i find that the word quirky gets used less, and the word mad becomes more consistent.
OH! To add insult to injury, do you realize how many places have stopped carrying maternity clothes, instead of improving them they've made them even more difficult to find. I finally ordered a hippy type of skirt online thats big and adjustable, I'm making a tye-died wrap, only i'm making it really big. I found a simple skirt at a place called motherhood maternity, and found simple tank tops there, and at a nonmaternity store i found a shirt that ties together. Thats as much luck as i've had thus far.

You probably don't have it over in the US, but here Hennes&Mauritz (H&M for the uninitiated) do a really good maternity range called 'Mama'. Its not expensive and has some nice things.
A golden energy
Was rising out of my head
I shed my evil skin
And found myself again
I was wrong, I don't mind
The impossible seems possible
This time I'm an electric wire
If the sun can radiate then so can I
