Man, to have a decent income. Then I could buy a car and afford petrol to go and see my friends. As it is things financially will probably get tighter come September when I have to find a new job that's part time but pays well.

Mind you, it's my own silly fault, I spent nearly 70 quid on my boots and another 50 on this cool bag.

you should get skype. (skype.com) all you need is a mic & speakers/headphones, and it's just like being on the phone... only you don't actually have to hold a phone up to your head for hours on end. Oh, and it's free. I'm sure it wouldn't cut out all your calls, but even if some, that's a savings.

unfortunately, that creates a mentality that can fail you if your income level drops.


its funny... economics these days is no longer (was it ever) about saving money and accumulating wealth... it seems to be all about spending as much as you earn so as to keep the economy going.
