I unfortunatly have to go in and have one...i have looked some stuff up on the net some sounds scary and some sounds wierd...my dr says that its hard to say what is what when you read up on it online. so i was just a little curious if anyone else has had to go thorugh this and what it was like?

I have. It depends on where it's being taken from as to what it feels like, if you're a awake at all.
Why the biopsy was being taken concerned me more....

when i went in they found some low grade abnormal cells...so i have to go in and have a biopsy to find out more. we'll see from there what exactly it is

So it was a routine check that revealed the cells?

welll yay.. i finaly made an appointment and now i have to reshedual it...damn spring break...i just want this shit done and over with..

med a new appointment..i get to go in tomarrow for the biopsy..*does a fake happy dance* not excited about this at all.. i still dont like the idea of them cutting a piece of me out..*shivers* no matter how small.

well fuck...i went in thinking they were going to do a biopsy and such today...not a damn thing. the stupid doctor mainly talked about my weight..only talking about re-schedualing and what she would do for a small about of time. pissed me the fuck off

On the other hand, if a doctor devotes more time to talking about your weight than a biopsy it shows what they think is more important. You doctor can't think you've got anything major to worry about, and have the potential to either die from a heart attack (or malnutrition, depending which way you're heading) at some point, which in a weird way can't be too bad. At least you can do something about that.

Although, yeah, doctors.

no they did no exam on me that day.. i go in on monday for the acctually exam...and up here atleast the doctors are on a " are you counting your calories" kick..im not that over weight..and in no way in danger of any kind of condition from it..i have only gained a little bit over the last year or so..but that seems to be more of thier focus..which i guess could be good..but i would REALLY rather talk about the situation at hand..i mean why the hell do i need to be in there if its nothing..and they dont know that its nothing..thats why they are doing the tests in the first place.. *sighs* i just want this shit over..the stress is tearing me apart..litteraly. through all of this i have hardly talked to my boyfriend...and have been nothing but bitchy or on a cleaning spree to that i dont have to sit and think..the bad thing is that cancer does run in the family..as well as a lot of other things *shrugs* guess ill get to know sometime soon

ok so i finaly went in... and it was the most painful thing i have ever done. my boyfriend has been great tho. putting up with my bitching and slow walking. now i just hope everything comes back ok. work has not been helpfull. i told my boss, cuz i couldnt go to work afterwards, and by the end of the day the whole fucking office knew about it. tho of corse they embelished a bit. i spicificaly asked her not to say a damn thing. i swear i hate working with mostly women. they gossip way to damn much.

sorry i havnt been on lately..been buisy planing a summer schedual for work.
anywho i finaly got back some of the results from the different tests..Now this is not the biopsy test results..still havnt heard about that yet. but the other stuff came back normal im happy about that..so now i just wait and see untill i hear back about the biopsy part *sighs* i tell ya..if i dont hear back soon im gunna go nuts
