I appreciate you straightforwardness. There are several common objections to Christianity, and, of course Christians are aware of them and address them in sermons & discussions fairly regularly.

As with politics, there is no definitive answer. You're aware of so many benefits & drawbacks to each decision, that at times no answer is clearly superior and you have to fall back on your preferences.
