do shops in your area cater for your tastes?
FriendshipDiscuss do shops in your area cater for your tastes? in the Welcome forums; There are only a few good shops in my city. It's so annoying! I just wish there were more....
I tend to buy cheap clothes from factory outlets then butcher them myself with razor blades, blow torches and fire estingueshers. I scored an all black hoodie from factory-2-u for five bucks... then I took a razor to it. The good will is a good place to find stuff, so are tattoo shoppes. There are hottopics here in vegas, also some other shoppes like cash for chaos and the buffolo exchange. But I'm poor so if I buy something expensive like bondage pants I just wear them until they rott off my body.
The shops here on the boulevard are alright. I usually put on a pair of baggy jeans and a T-shirt that I stole from someone. If you go downtown there are a couple shops which offer nicer "goth" type clothing, but it is outrageously expensive and I don't like it that much.
I used to shop at Hot Topic until they jacked their prices up so high and everyone's little sister started shopping there. The main reason was the price...
I agree with you, GMSG. If I do spend the money on something nice I wear it until it looks like shit...and then I usually continue wearing it. New clothes are a rarity for me...
I live in Scotland, the shops in Glasgow are pretty damn good. Lovely corsets and dresses etc. So long as you know where to go you can find pretty much anything. Kinda expensive though :S

Can you recomend a few shops? I am going to Glasow on Saturday.
i don't think i could handle it if i saw awesome clothes everywhere i looked, coz it would be other people would be wearing them. i'm far too poor, so seeing clothes i a few times a year [if that] suits me just fine. otherwise i'd be too heartbroken for words.
I dont have much money and at the moment I live at several people's houses. We all share clothes, I wear theirs, they wear mine, its a case of fishing something out of the laundry basket in the morning. Seeing as we mostly dress in black everything looks pretty much the same anyway.
A golden energy
Was rising out of my head
I shed my evil skin
And found myself again
I was wrong, I don't mind
The impossible seems possible
This time I'm an electric wire
If the sun can radiate then so can I
My friends (or friends of friends) are clothes designers. I usually buy fabric and have my own designs made. Especially PVC gear. Stuff bought in London would last me a lifetime, but I'm due for a shopping trip! Oooh yes!!!
