Whats the nicest (spur of the moment) thing you've ever done for a complete stranger?

On many ocassions I have just spent time talking to someone that is homeless, people think its enough to just give them some change or a cup of coffe or a bite to eat, but like the rest of us they too crave attentiona and conversation to make them still feel apart of society.

This one guy was selling the Big Issue (paper that homeless people in the UK who want to help themselves sell) and I stood and chatted with him for about 45 mins. He told me it was better than any money beacuse it made him feel noticed and real. So many people just walk past like he was not even there and it hurts. We stood and talked about just stuff, music, weather and general crap, told a joke or 2 and acted like the normal people we where. That's all he wanted, to be treated normal.

So I guess thats what I find the best thing I can do for anyone, give the, my time.

A.Too numerous to mention. Probably getting really pissed and sleeping with my then boyfriends two best mates, or burning up my arm with a cigarette. Haven't done anything like it for a long long time. Heaps more crap. I have more tools now.

The best thing in my life right now is the fact that my mom is taking my illness seriously now. That and the support I receive from my other Ma. Without there support and encouragement I don't know where I would be.

Would you give up your talents by taking a medication you know will make you different, if you thought it may help you overcome your problems...?

Yes I would, mental health is very important...and once my body adjusts to the new meds.....the talents would resurface. I don't think that true talents really disappear, they may take a back seat roll temporairly though.
