I like Moosehead, but I don't drink often.

Next one will most likely be a lease, but my leases are only a year long, so I'm not too worried about it, but I rather own my car... oh well.
Vehicle you want.... not dream vehicle, but one you would find to be practical for your life? Homer: Ah he has all the money in the world. But you know what he can't buy? Marge: What is that Homy? Homer: *Thinks* A Dinosaur!!!

Not sure...I've had all sorts over the years, but I think I like practicality and fuel-efficient when it comes to cars. Something good on gas, not too pricey but not the cheapest, and these days something environmentally friendly would be nice too. I'd even be happy just to keep the little Toyota I have if it holds together for a long time. Those new little Hondas are cute, or a small SUV though I really wouldn't need that much car at this point.

Well, it's been a LONG time since then but when I was getting mine, I had to take a written test to get my learner's permit, then take a written exam for the license and a road test, so I guess about 3.

I got charged with careless driving, $325, and like 4 demerit points, and the cop told me it was procedure, but to take it to court, then the next day, I was driving parent's car, and was charged with a speeding ticket, $125, and 2 points I think.... Took them both to court, ended getting the first one dropped to failure to swerve to avoid collision, and the other was completely dropped, so I went from $500 and 6 points to $90 and 2 points....

Actually yes...a few little fender benders (just little dings or foot slipped off the gas type things) where I was driving, and one head-on collision where I wasn't. My friend and I were driving through a park at night, slid off the road on to the grass because he took the turn too too quickly and went straight into a tree. No one got hurt but after the shock wore off I slapped the shit out of him because he started laughing (that was probably a stress reaction so I know it was wrong smack him). I think it was after this that I began wearing my seat belt religiously.
Do you think the driving age is fine where you live, or do you think it should be raised or lowered? Why? (Here is 17 and if you ask me, there are some kids who can handle the responsibility and some who clearly cannot). They just raised it here from 16 to 18.... I like 18, because I got mine at 16, hahaha, but in reality, I wasn't driving by myself until I was 18, we have to go through 8 month to a year depending if you take lessons, with a driver who's had the full license for 5 years, then take our second test, and then we could drive along with some restrictions, and then a year later, you could take the final test, and then you were full licensed.

LOL I've TRIED...I had a few people try to teach me and I didn't really get enough practice. I know if I had a vehicle to drive consistently I could do it. I've been spoiled by automatics all my life.
If you had to drive in a country where the driving is different (say like in England if you're from the US or vice versa) could you adjust easily or do you think you'd have a hell of a time? Red lentil dahl. Well, sort of. I didn't have all the ingredients for it but I had most of them so I improvised. It came out okay. It just wasn't spicy enough because I had no fresh ginger.

i have no opinion on that person.
what was your biggest accomplishment as far as overcoming a habit? like, what was the most difficult to quit or the most destructive habit you've ever successfully overcome? If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair. | |

well, i've quit smoking and i've slowed way down on the drinking (i guess i did the permadrunk thing for awhile myself)
but i'd have to say that the most difficult to quit was probably the cutting. i still think about it almost every day.

weird, i've already been asked that in this thread, i believe.
no, i haven't been streaking technically but i've been on a cloak run, and that's pretty much the same.

A: yea, but being a guy, that doesn't account for much. But dancing naked around a bonfire should count for something.

oh yeah, in highschool we always had bonfires for homecoming. and then at ren fest... i think that counts because that's usually where all the naked dancing occured.
