Once in a while at one of my former jobs I would get one in an e-mail from one of the other offices, which wasn't that unusual since we would joke a lot in our e-mails anyway, usually to release the stress of the job.

A: Like a rock. I can swim, but after having a 6ft thresher shark caught a few feet from me at Tybee Beach, I try and avoid water deeper then a few feet. I never knew the bloody thing was there until the fisherman set the hook and it took off. He shouldn't have been fishing there while folk were swimming anyway.

In the actual sense of interaction? Not unless you include things like being inspected then prompted ignored and passed on by a coyote while in a car in the Mojave Desert years back, or going through the safari ride at Six Flags or something like getting stung by a bee. LMAO
It's funny this got asked though because I had been hiking a few times recently and was discussing during the hike how I often wondered what we would do if confronted by a bear. They freak me out a bit.

A: Worked as a bouncer at Southern Exposure (strip club) in Salt Lake City. Dated a few of the dancers from there.

Protest? No, I can't say that I have. The only thing I could imagine people protesting at a strip club would be that things weren't getting raunchy enough. Quote: |

| By the way, near us there is a club that was built right next to a roller rink and also what used to be a Discovery Zone play center for children. I always found that completely bizarre. I wonder when the DZ was there that tons of dads were offering to take the kids out while the moms stayed home. LOL The sad part is it probably did happen.

A: I have but never hurt.
When I was ten we here hit by a car that had the windshield smashed by a kid with a snowball, the car bounced off us and under a parked Semi. The steering wheel shaved the flesh off the woman's thighs and I held her hand as she died. Now I have this tendancy to run down kids that throw things at passing cars.
Also, I was hit by a drunk driver and my car ('64 pontiac) was rolled over into the ditch and stopped upside down. I walked away from that one unhurt, we flipped the car back over and were able to drive home.

If you mean actually sit there with them and witness their final moments, no, not as of yet. I am not sure who or why but I have a feeling that I eventually will.

I don't have any. I'm still thinking about it. It's an issue for me right now.
I can tell you this though...I have had a long time to think about and observe and talk to people about parenting and I would say one of the hardest parts to parenting seems to be that push-pull thing that happens, you know, finding the balances between when to discipline them or push them toward independence and when to protect or help them.

A: As a child I had sleeping dreams about the past (my maternal grandmother's) that turned out to be true.
I've had waking dreams, glimpses of the future that came true.; sometimes they are insignificant things like an apartment I haven't moved into yet. After I had our daughter I experienced the moments leading up to my death in a waking dream three times before I finally figured out what I was seeing. Have to wait and see if that one is true.

A: Depends what you're referring to. For sex, 16. For drinking and smoking, 21. (And I say that despite local laws permitting us to buy booze and smokes at 18.)
Q: Why are some countries spelt/pronounced differently in English rather than their respective native tongues? E.g. We say Italy, when Italians call it Italia. And we spell Brazil with a z, when locally they spell it Brasil. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. | |

A: The pronounciation by the locals is based of their language so it seems to come across as an accent to some. But from my experience, if you try and say it the way they do, you can offend them.

Only on screen. Thankfully. I guess it would be interesting to see though with just enough distance and the guarantee that no one was in it.

Interesting question, as it's been my current mode of contemplation. I'll get back to you on it when I figure it out. Someplace with a lot more quiet than here, I can tell you that. LOL
