Over the last few months I have developed a passion for all things 50's!
I myself am very feminine and love the drop-waists, full skirts, detail such as pearl buttons and halter-tie necks.
Here are some pictures of me *new* dress. Authentic 1950's drop waisted dress, worn by my grandmother. It is a tiny bit big but thats nice in the summer anyway.
Pretty, si?
This is a better shot for the detail..
To give you an idea of the skirt..
I am trying to build up a larger collection of clothes like this, but on a limited budget and with time that is not my own it is difficult! My other *key* piece is a peachy long sleeved v-neck cardigan, ribbed around the wrist and the waist. It isnt a genuine 50's cardigan but it has that style and I plan to get some pearl buttons to sew on and make it that extra bit special

My next purchase will hopefully be some shoes like these..

at £65 (approx $90) they are a bit dear!
I know the majority of you dress in an 'alternative' or 'gothic' style ~cringes at how terribly worded that is~ so this may not interest you, but I adore it and thought I would share.
