i call myself werther. i am a brilliant student of literature at the prestegious handley high school in winchester va. no facet of life is unknown to me: i am a poet, scholar, philosopher and artist. yet, with all of these things going for me i find myself inexplicably drawn into the darkness of my own existence, the inevetible darkness which overshadows any brilliance.

my home is in an industrial hell. at night the grinding machines of the Trex company across the street groan endlessly into the night, for there is never any solace from the machine of society which oversees us.

i have a cat. her name is abagail. i named her after the masterful operatic work by the vauned King Diamond, but of him later.

finally, i am an unappreciated poet, artist and scholar. no one at my school is able to realize this, for my efforts into the higher meaning of thigns go largely unnoticed. this is why i have come here. to become the shooting star who may incinerate in his own brilliance never to be extinguished by the crushing expectations of a hostile and unforgiving world.
