you have nice forum here i just found it by chance and decided to log on here I like dark art stuff - Gothic, morbid, ghostly works but my works are very amateur I do mostly photography but would like to learn to poetry and stories writing... Also big fan of crows and ravens - they inspire me most for works - I had magpie and a crow before on my balcony - they were like pets to me thats how i got inspired by them of course in reality crows and ravens arent that dark but they are kinda mysterious and interesting

Did you know that the Raven actually represents a trickster in a few mythologies? I also believe that it's probably Edgar Allan Poe's fault that the Raven is associated as dark.

The crow is the bringer of souls to the afterlife in a few religions.

Didn't know that, but I know very little about all religions... that would definitely be a factor in how people viewed the raven
