so rather than curing cancer a bunch of science nerds came up with a way to make a tree that reacts to passing objects. fucking rad. don't bother with the small things in life like saving humans or anything. we need shit like this to remind us what life was like once we've destroyed our planet.

Well, i think it's talking about the sensor technology and the movemnt, although I doubt it would be very difficult to create a robot with subtle movements...

As for curing cancer, it's a different area of science
