By Marc McEntegart: Wednesday 19 October 2005, 111 XBOX 360 pre-orders are already being sold on e-bay, with some reaching prices as high as $1,500.
It was only a matter of time before the obligatory new console price gouging began. And, with Microsoft itself predicting disappointment for many would-be buyers, it's no surprise that pre-ordered 360s could fetch such remarkable prices.
Microsoft's global release date idea means that there will be a shortage of 360s which will keep the console high in demand until at least after Yule.
While these auctions are being shut down rapidly, those of you interested in bidding on a 360 pre-order can get in touch with sellers here.
Of course, the world and its gaming mother are bemoaning the price bump but the fact is, if you're rich or dumb enough to spend $1,500 on a console, you are most certainly welcome to do so.
And PS3DOs with burned out power supplys will go for $50.
I bet a premium bundle 360 will go for over $5000 the week or two after launch.
XBOX 360 is easily the most popular console of all time, and its not even released yet.

hehehe. this saturday i'm going to put some more money on my deposit and take in some more material for trade i'm gonna have my xbox 360 for launch. just as long as my damn store gets some in. they should because by the time it comes out i'm gonna have paid it all off

integrated = CDX / Multimega
ontop = Version 1
beside = Version 2
i have teh original megadrive (Genesis) that sits ontop and connects to the mega cd (SegaCD)

theyre both 16bit if i remember rightly. you needed the 32X addon to run 32 bit games. they did bring out 32bit MegaCD (SegaCD) games for the CD bit but you needed a 32X and a special cartridge i think... cant remember.

But the BEST Game system of all time is a joke ! Its not the SYSTEM its THE GAMES and thats why the Atari 2600 rocks! along with why so many ppl are going retro Alot of us are tired of all this 3-D CRAP !!

The only games that need to worry about 3-D graphics are Fist person Shooters ,simulators and thoose rare odd games or RPGs ..hell even most of the best Fighters are simple 2-D !
