When will it? Xbox 360 I've seen (fineally) and I will say the graphics kick the old xbox to the curb. So I was thinking (like someone else on this board) of trading in my xbox and a few usless ps2 games for a new system (with added in dollor bills of course). But then it dawned on me; Why? Next year (probably the year after, to 1+1/2 years) there'll be a newer, better system. Fallowed by Sony's PS4 and Nintendo's new system as well.
I didn't think anything could get better (graphic wise) then xbox. But the 360 proved me wrong. I didn't think anything could get better then the PS2, and XBox 1 proved me wrong. When will the madness end? Shouldn't I wait untill 2008 to buy a new system when something better will come out? Sure it's a long ways to wait. But I don't need a new system now.
So then, are you going to buy one of these hyped up systems or stick to old and faithfull like LORD-IVD? Personally, I keep finding games I like for PS2.

if you buy a ps3, there'll soon be a ps4, a ps5, a ps6... an xbox 4, 5, 6 7, a nintendo revolution, a nintendo awesome, a nintendo googaboxwizzle4000superultramegatron. each running on VVVVVHHHHHD 5-D graphics, 246.75 immersion sound with the ability to play the game by moving your eyeballs and psychically telling the game what to do.
technology advances through levels. you can wait, you can move with it.
hell, in the future some dude is going to be saying "shall i buy an xbox 1024 or stick with my retro 360?"
choice is yours.
ps - xbox 360 already paid for.

Although true that that scenario will always happen, I guess what I'm asking is:
How many of you are going to go out and buy the new box and sony/nintendo? How many after the new 'thing' comes out?

that all depends on what theyre actually like. it;s way to early to ask that question, since the ps3 launch looks likely to happen in fall next year, and i have no idea when the revolution is going to be released. ask in a year's time.

No plans to buy ANY new systems at this time ESP since in a mere 3 years the new one 's will be out LOL !!!!
And Self already has the BEST game systems !
