MMO's

I like a few sports games, like the old NBA jam, and the madden games, thats about it.

I vary myself on all genres but I have to say I play shooters the most. I was raised on DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D.

Doom multiplayer was awesome!

And it still is. Play it on Xbox live or with ZDaemon/Skulltag.

ahh the old days of playing doom multiplayer on a serial link and 10base2 network.

i held the record for most frags, highest frag to death ratio and highest frag to opponent frag ratio in a single 5 minute network game at my high school.

if i can get it working, hopefully this friday my friends and i are going to have a DS DOOM multiplayer session

I jest, of course...besides, more then any other type of game, I favour role playing games the most.

Even if the majority of them feature a ragtag band of young prepubescent children off to fight some dark, long forgotten god which arises once more, and have never had sexual intercourse yet...I truly enjoy to delve into the game play mechanics, and above everything...

...looting chests and stealing items from enemies! Were I to be in an actual role playing game, I believe that I would be a thief. *Steals this thread.*

I also love survival horror games, my most favourite series being Silent Hill.

And, although the following, aside from the progressive incorporation of significant role playing elements, does not truly count as any of my favoured types of games...the Castlevania series remain a part of my most loved series ever.

Role playing games (any genre, as long as its done well) and FPS games.
