I don't know how many people on here are nerdy enough to play pencil and paper RPGs, and how many of those have played SR. But I picked up the 4th edition core book last sunday and have been reading through it and am interested in other people's opinions on the system changes.

So if you play, tell me what you think. If you don't, this thread can fade into obscurity as do most of my threads.

I have not seen hide nor hair of that game since the last time I played which was about 10 years ago. How did they change the system??? It was a fairly good RPG the way it stood.... did they convert it to the D20 System like they are doing everything else???

No, its still D6, they just changed the way you roll the D6s. Instead of rolling your skill against a target number that is modified depending on the situation, you now roll your skill + a linked attribute +/- modifiers against a target number of 5.

They also made the matrix completely wireless to make better use of deckers.
