Your views on the game? What do you think? Good, bad? Pyramid haed having sex with 4 legged things that kill you..... What is up with that????

I loved Silent Hill 2. The Pyramid Head cutscences were on the pornographic side but everything else in the game makes up for it and then some.
Interesting story, great graphics, multiple endings, great voice acting and Maria is really sexy. My main gripes about this game are simple ones... the main character comes off as kinda dumb, the puzzle interface is wicked frustrating, and the close range combat could have been better... that's it.

Get it is you liked the first one.

I just hated the way everybody you meet find a way of leaving you on your own again.....it weird

I liked the grapics, the gameplay was a bit on the... Long side but it built up the tention for me. The way you were left alone sometimes was great, it added to the isolation. Great game...

it was to predictable..........

Yeah, I know, but the way you interact with the the person that is with you changes your ending. Same as the objects you pick up. Eg. If you don't run away from Maria and walk with her all the time you are with her and you don't bump into her, then your ending is that you leave Silent hill with her. If you keep looking at the knife that chick was going to kill herself with, the ending is that you will kill yourself. If you keep looking at your dead wifes photo, then your ending is different still. The game picks up on the way you play it and determins your ending.... Now thats cool!!!

I didn't think it was predictable.

The game is first and foremost a work of horror, the gameplay comes secondary to the horror. Part of horror is isolation and loneliness. Becides they were careful to make sure the other characters had a reason to not stay with you. Maria technically didn't exist. Brat girl was well.....bratty. And fat guy was pychopathic.
