umm.... its a mmorpg... the official one isnt free... but ive heard that there are quite a few free private servers...

anyone playing on one? if there is... ill probably play on it... or else ill just play on some random one which pops up...on google...

or any other free mmorpg... which wont be pay 2 play any time soon...

preferably 2d anime style... like... nexus...

ragnarok online? always wanted to try it, but it was down for like a whole year or something. still not to keen on many P2P games, but if you can find free servers, well, that's a different story

yeah, uhh...that link doesn't quite...give me...anything. now you can download it for free and i am pretty sure it is a heft 600MB file from the official site. but does that give you a server to play on? because i can't find anything on there. do i need to register to that board to see it?

right right, i registered but i still don't see where the server address or anything is. and the file is 643MB large

their server seems to be down, and quite often too. i still haven't gotten through, but eventually, eventually...

hmm... one thing about these private servers... not too sure... i think its not too often that they have more than 15 people on at one time.... i think.... maybe i just made it up...

I'd love to play a mmorpg, though there's always that pesky upkeep cost, added to the fact that I usually only play games on a whim... I'm not that much of a fanatic.

hang on... i just remembered.... theres an indonesian version of ragnarok which is free at the moment... but im not too sure how long itll be free... dont have the link... but im sure itd have something to do with "boleh game" and ragnarok.... and... text which isnt english...

so... if you dont mind playing on a server where most people dont speak english... google for it... you should find it easy enough... maybe...

i play on cro sakura server,which is free and legal. the thing is registration closed so you = teh fucked :| but i think thats the server you were talking about >_>
the thing about private servers is there normally about 60 to 100 people on but they normally boost the exp so you get 10x/10x or around there and they boost the item drops aswell,so its less hard to level and get rare items D:
also,all the private ones ive played on, most of the GMs = assholes so its extremly hard to get in unless if you know their friends or are their friend and so on >_>

First time i got on valhalla's server was last night. the exp and drop rate is ridiculously high, the server lags as if it were 56k, and it has a case of the disconnecting hiccups. there's other flaws in it (invis. NPC's/portals), but it's still worth the price.

worth the price hehe... um... how many people online?

I've seen it in action a few times now... i really would like to play it, but all mmorpg upkeep costs deter me.
