SNES is still my favorite system but only barely... I loved my Atari. the only reason I have a ps2 is because if I was getting my ass handed to me in a game I could throw in an dvd of angry people (aka fight club) and laugh at pain. Microsoft..hmm... I play Halo on the x-box...and um...some others I can't think of... but I still love the old school Nintendo platforms the most. I hope the Revolution does them proud

Personally, I'm a Sega fan, I have 7 Mega Drives, 1 Mega Drive II, 2 Mega CD's, 1 Mega Drive III, a Master System Converter and a Dream Cast original.

So you can tell when it comes to consoles I truely live in the past but back then graphics were to be desired, so basically they had to work more on game play and there's even a game on the Mega Drive that to this day after all these years I cannot Complete.

Nintendo wa smore y friends make of console, he had everything from all the Gameboy's to the real machines, SNES Super SNES and so on... I only really enjoyed a few games on the machine, Mario being one of them.

I <3 Nintendo. My mom was anti-video games when I was little, but my brother's dad bought him a Nintendo and hid it. My brother used to let me play with it when I wasn't pissing him off.

Then I bought a Super Nintendo off a girl on the bus a few years later and fell totally in love with Yoshi's Island. Still have my SNES. I ordered a new controller to replace the one my cat chewed up. And I have to jam the cartridges in hard and pile hardback books on top to keep it in, but I still play the fuck out of it.

i've always loved nintendo. their games are top knotch. so much fun. true next gen in every case. shame some of their ideas never followed.

first games "console" i owned was a gameboy. loved it. still do.

im a sonic fan i admit, i do love my sonic better than my mario and i collect sega and sonic but i do say that nintendo make an uber machine.

i cant wait for the revolution.

SNES had the coolest games ever: mega man x, castlevania 3, bahamut lagoon, the illusion of gaia, I mean the list would just go on and on.

Whereas playstation 2 had nilch

You people all make me laugh. Why don't you just get them all? Go get an X-box mod'd, and get all the ROM's and EMU's. I have EVERY (including Jap or Euro exclusive) game for NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master, Gensis, Sega CD, Atatri (both versions), Gameboy, Game Gear, and arcade game (up until about '97, when graphics went nuts). I'm working on getting all the games for PS1 and Dreamcast now. Hell, I even have all the games for off the wall stuff like MSX and MSXII and Neo Geo Pocket. I think I have all the SNK stuff too.

You people gotta learn. They're all just simple computers, so why not get one good computer and put everything on it?

what's your point? i don't get it. are you just saying that we shouldn't spend money on old games? Well, some people are collectors, and some people can't be bothered with emus. I personally don't use them because I don't like them, but that's my call.

My point is why limit yourself to "one favorite" when you can just have them all?

i prefer playing sonic on my megadrive than on a rom. it just isn't the same. yes i do have mega collection plus for my 360 but i prefer to play it on my good ol 16 bit.

i'm not too keen on roms. its just not the same really. gaming isnt just about the games. theres a whole lot more to it for me. i like the games so thats what twists it a bit more towards what the games are, but still... theres something about what you play it on, how, etc etc.
