It came out last year I think, did anyone try it? It's gotten solid reviews, but I can't see spending $40 on a PS2 game anymore ($30 maybe, but nothing higher without some kind of bonus features).

I enjoyed this game a lot- I imagine the gameplay is "Wii"-like in that you draw shapes to cast spells and to build simple things like bridges. Sometimes you have to draw symbols in time-sensitive situations; others you do it to discover objects or to move objects to allow you continue the game. You cause a good number of effects with the spells, and the story is unique and entertaining, with mini-games thrown in. The art is beautiful, and the supporting characters are funny. I definitely found this game to be worth the money.

if you like that kind of gameplay, i hear the full metal alchemist game is good like that. drawing circles and symbols in order to do spells.
Just a heads-up: Okami will be coming out for the Wii next year, so if you have one, wait. I have the PS2 version (which is fantastic), and I can imagine the Wii making the controls a lot more interesting
I'm not advocating buying a Wii, though I liked mine so very little that I gave it to my friend for her bday.
