No, mine's been running smoothly so far, even though I've only had it for a few days now.
I was told not to leave the slim plugged in because it has a tendency to overheat, though.
Yeah, hence why I have a master cutoff switch for my entire entertainment system. Got sick of pressing "off" on 5 remotes, only to have them all sitting in standby and still sucking power.

It's still better than the original ps2.
I'll get a ps3 when it dramatically comes down in price (It's $999.00AU, here).
As of this moment, I've no games to play...
I want to get the next GTA...Which one comes first - San Andreas, or VCS?
(I know I could look it up, but I'm really drunk right now and can't see straight lol)

Only been playing for a couple days, but I like it thus far. I got it on the recommendation of a good buddy of mine who quit playing WoW due to endgame frustration.. LOTR plays great and looks *fantastic*, with enough quests and side-quests to make grinding totally unnecessary. So far, my only real beefs have to do with the fact that the game is still young: the economy is kind of retarded right now, the professions system is vastly different from WoW (and therefore confuses me), and the huge number of brand new players means that a lot of the lower-level zones have tons of people in them. It's basically the same thing that happened with Hellfire Peninsula when BC first came out, only not quite that bad.
I suppose that what I like the most is the fact that the game stays true to the lore, and therefore has a very prominent plot that actually makes sense. I'm not a big LOTR nerd, but the fact that your own character's travels and quests will often intersect with the main plot of the novels is really cool.
I'm sure I'll be playing this one for a while. I still play WoW since so many of my friends are on there, but since I don't want to raid, I'm running out of stuff to do.
i'm definately going to get myself a Wii, but im going to wait a little while longer i think in order to buy it. wait for some more games and possibly til a price drop. i want to get at least 3 or 4 games for it, but the price for those bundles are just a little high.
Sorry but I don't care about the PS3 or 360 anymore now I've got my Wii. Seriously get a go on Rayman and I swear you'll be laughing your ass off in minutes!

high compared to my budget to spend on things i don't really need. i have a 360, i paid for it from preorder day by taking in my old consoles and systems and games that i didnt want any more. in actual cash, i paid £100 to be able to get the 2 game bundle.
the bundle i want on the Wii is about £300 and i dont have that spare. not since my bikes electrics set on fire just before it needed a new MOT, and my car needs a new clutch, new tires, and a full on service. i'm happy enough playing my retro consoles and my 360. specially since now i can pick up games for under £20.
the rayman raving rabbits game is on 360 too. i want it, but i will wait for it to pop up in a preowned. i tend to buy all my games that way now.
we're having an extention built on the back of our house that i'm going to turn into a gaming room / movie theatre. once i get the projector hooked up, i'll certainly buy a Wii for the whole gaming party type thing. i'll have the floorspace for us to jump around like crazy wankers, and a nice big screen too.
I must say the FF series and Resident Evil series are the only reasons I'm even contemplating getting a PS3, but until those prove to be amazing and the bloody price comes down I'll be getting myself fit with laughter and a workout on my Wii

well, the last RE for cube was more impressive on the cube than it was on most systems, so wait for the Wii one. reviews say it's freaking awesome. you should keep your eye on that. there's a big review (cover story) in the official nintendo magazine, which comes free with a Wii wristband of some kind (omfgwow! uknowuwantone!) though its been out for a while so i dont know when the new issue is coming out.
