Ultimate Mortal Kombat
Or Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Or even Pong and Tetris...

i wouldn't mind getting a NWN online game going. would just prefer it to be more of a private match with friends then an open match with diots You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

With diots. That sounds so kool, lol. Diots...I'll use it, hehe.
Yea, we're playing online right now, and its kind of slow. We do make it so only select people can get in, but I dunno. My computer is damn nice, and I'm serving, and I get a small amount of lag. Its ok, but its not as smooth as first player (At least if you're serving). To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

mmorpgs dont really need a story line... they done really progress storywise...
now... nwn... heh.. i played through the whole game with out cheating -_- or drinking potions... until the last boss who i had to drink potions to beat... and then i got the expansion... which has a really cool twist i thought.... Welp, I just got ahold of the collector's edition of NWN plus both expansions for about $30 off of e-bay. Should be here in about a week to 10 days...just in time to screw with my homework time since I'll be back in school by then. Should be fun. I just got done running through the entire Baldur's Gate series all over again, so I'm primed for some new adventuring. I have also read that their is a mod for BG2 to boost it to IWD2 graphics and rules a s well. You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

Hmm, haven't heard about those mods. Might be interesting to get them and see how they work. I don't suppose you've got a link to a site where I can download them?
I think just about any character class would work, though I'm almost wishing I'd played a wizard because there are these "receipe books" found throughout the game that tell you how to create your own magic items using spells and special ingredients that I've got tons of sitting in my bag of holding.
Still, my half-orc barbarian/druid is the shit. I can stand toe-to-toe with Balors easily. Combine that with the halfling rogue henchman I picked up to get spot and remove those pesky traps, and my bear companion, and I'm a force to be reckoned with. shit bro i was meaning characters for BG 1 and 2. NWN, is a whole different story of gaming experience that i have been slowly getting through.
as for the link to the file, or at least 1 of the urls here you go... http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/ind...=143&Itemid=98 You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

Ah, sorry dude. I'm sitting here trying to get a couple poems finished for a workshop in my creative writing class, I can't drink my coffee because they don't allow drinks in the computer lab, and I'm running on about 5 hours sleep. I might miss a few things here and there.
The first time I went through both BG1&2 and their expansions, I played a bard. Personal preference, and one that hurt me a little combat-wise. For a truly kick-ass character, I'd recommend any of the following:
1) Straight fighter, any race. (You can decorate your character with all the best armor and weapons, and confine your strategy to rushing straight in and mowing down anything that gets in your way)
2) Wizard [or specialist wizard, either evoker, necromancer, or conjurer] (This way you stand back from the fight and lay down spells, letting your companions bat clean-up and keep the enemy away from you.)
3) Cleric (most versatile of the three, as they can fight and spellcast, plus you can play medic) Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

ahh mostly i play a ranger or a fighter thief. I don't play mages much as i they are weak to start with and not online playing good prove to be a hassle. my wizard in one of my IWD1 games keeps getting killed, and shit i have yet to finish one of these damn games. You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

In the early BG series, you started at level 1, and with no henchman, and only cantrips, your wizard was pounded into the ground 7 ways from Sunday. In NWN you start at...level 5? Something higher up, where you actually have access to a few spells that can do some damage, or perhaps hinder then in other ways that compensate for your sorry as physical skills. I myself used a Sorc. in NWN the second time through, and it was way more fun, way more intense, and I did get to create about 80% of those "crafting" items. My first run through was a half-orc/theif, and he could not only open up anything in existence, but he had the melee to smash through anything and everything. It was kind of dull though, cause after a bit of leveling, with Greater Cleave, I killed one thing then just hacked everything else to death. Kind of boring and repetetive.
If you want a really fun class, be a shapeshifter. Haha. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
