If anyone can help me find out what game I'm looking for, I'd be much obliged . I remember playing this game (and possibly a sequel or two); a 2d game, in which you played a knight; I remember jumping around, and the first game had a frog as one of the bosses.
I for some reason remembered "Iron Sword" but I suppose the Wizards and Warriors game is the only one with that name.
I know this isn't much to go on, but I would love if someone knew what I was talking about .

Oh, sorry; I just copies and pasted what I posted to an NES forum; that's the system.
It'd be action/adventure probably.
I seem to remember that the game was as expansive vertically as horizontally.
Remember, these are my memories from about 7 or 8 years of age... I just want to find that game!

platform game, you had a sword that grew larger as you leveled up or something?...umm...grr...I'll remember later.
Lol. I was an idiot; the Wizards and Warriors series, the second of which is called Ironsword. I was mistaken between that and Wizardry .
But I found them! . Too bad it's so difficult to get back into the feel of the games after all of these years...

I loved the first one. Go Kuros, whoop that Malkil. I wish I had a Brightsword, Ax of Agor, Potion of Levitation, Boots of Force and a Feather of Feather Fall.
PS>You can get the feather in the first caves area, its just a real cunt to get.
PPS>The old NES cartridge for IronSword actually has Fabio on the front posing as Kuros.
