Sure I suck at it and that doesn't help, it's still a rough game. Any tips?

Endure in enduring grow stronger

I think the key to heroes 3 are the resources.
If you get the resources early then you and your cities grow stronger early.
Also, dont use many heroes. Play with 1-3 and give them as experience and army as they can get.

Thanks. I'm stuck at the last mission in the third campaign where you have to kill General Kendall who's a fucking badass.

i have the best luck as adelaide with a castle...her diplomacy has many creatures join...so in addition to building my own army, i have this hodge podge army to guard my castle...i start with the financial buildings and then my archers, shooters are my favorite army to work with, the zealots kick ass with their ranged attack...


i play scenarios, not so much the campaign.

That's good advice. I really do suck at the game, though, so I probably just need to look up cheat codes or give up.

I usually go for eagle eye over diplomacy.

I beat it. Kendall was out of the castle at the time and I killed some other general. All that build up then he was out tagging mines. Oh well, thanks for the advice.

i play all of my games on easy, choose my own scenarios, and it takes me months to do what my husband does in weeks(game time). I suck too, but it's an enjoyable game

Yeah, it is. Now I'm stuck on the second scenerio in the Spoils of War campaign. Sigh, just give it time.
