so who's got it? and what are your intitial impressions?

My son really wants it, and well he has to wait till he gets the money to cover it before he gets it. He is hoping to get it this weekend saying he can afford it.

ill be getting it next week, i just spent over a grand on fixing up my car and didnt realize that it was coming out around the same time. I am anxious X_X

im counting down the days untill I can get 360 & halo 3....

i'm on about the 5th or 6th chapter so far.

initial evaluation, it's good the buttons have changed a bit, but can get used to em easy enough after a lil while.

detail is great, weapons are great, and multiplayer is great. the online will be incredible.

i got 48 hours free live with it, but ima wait til saturday morning and just get it and play the weekend away

i love it. i really havent played too much on it, but it is brilliant. in hd it is incredible.

I'll have to get a 360 before I think about H3, but I should be able to get some play time off of friends...

As a word of advice, open your bought copy before you leave the store. Apparently they've had a problem with the packaging scratching the discs during shipping bad enough to effect playability.

i love the smothness of it. no more stop and load bullshit while in motion. the scinimatics are intense. the story seems good so far but i am only on the 4th level. i love how spanned the maps arenow, there's like a whole new demension. also, the multiplayer is sureal. couldnt ask for more except less asswholes with headsets.

I just got it, my brother bought it. Its fucking awesome.

i hate uni. if i didn't have to get up at 9am to go in, i'd complete it tonight.

i think i'm on the last level. but i cant stay up any later. its 20 to 2 as it is.

plus the neighbour is bangin on the wall because i have my sound system turned right up.

i wanna complete the last level of halo 3 with the sound blaring so i'll do it tomorrow morning before i leave

no one here bought the limited edition, did they? My store got 4 returns when we realised it was how they were buying them.

i'd like a tin one, the legendary would be kinda cool but i think thats a bit over the top. i think perhaps when they come down in price i'll buy a preowned one and trade mine in for it and pay the difference.

I heard that game was friggin good!... that it has really good graphics in it, makes u feel like your really in the game

I've got it. Mine wasn't all scratched to hell, though. The disc -was- loose in the case, but I thoroughly inspected it. No scratches.

I don't plan on getting it or playing it. I didn't like Halo 2 multiplayer and Halo 1 multiplayer doesn't hold a candle to two's.

Though I will give it a shot sooner or later, I don't plan on owning it.

well, halo 3 multiplayer is great.

and several times better than 1, 2 and many many other games.
