I've decided to go back in time and purchase myself an N64 bundle off ebay. I'm really surprised how cheap they are now. I can get an N64 with two controllers and 5 games and an expansion pack for under £20. That's amazing.

The games for the N64 that bring back good memories are Goldeneye, Zelda, Turok 2, Perfect Dark and Mario cart. The hours I pissed away playing those I'll never get, but, I'm not complaining as I enjoyed every moment.

So, fuck all these new consoles. I'm going back in time to remember all the times I beat my mates to shit at death match in Goldeneye. Man, It was great watching a grown man get really pissed because I laid some proximity mines of his arse.

Yup, I'm all about retro gaming. Intellivision, Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Neo Geo... I got em all. My Neo Geo is my baby.

I <3 my NES. Even having to blow in the bottom of the games, and having to put it in the tray juuuust right before pushing it down and hoping this time it loads... ah yes.

My N64 is cool, but I prefer the NES, Duck Hunt... now that's the shit y0.

i'm gonna trade my nes. i don't have anything worth keeping it for.

i will complete my sega collection first, then i'll move back onto nintendos. i don't wanna get all of them just to have them, but in order to play my fave games on their original machines without emulation.

eg = primal instinct on the snes, virtua cop and nba jam on the saturn, sonic adventure, dead or alive and shenmue 1 and 2 on dreamcast, sonic 1 and rampage on the master system, doom on the 32X etc etc.

i'm planning on getting myself a gamegear..i loved those fuckers.

yeah, specially for teh TV input i loved that.

i've got an atari 2600 with a decent stack of games that i bring out every 6 months or so. it's fun when you've got a bunch of drunk people over and they start going 'oh my gawd, you have an atari,' at which point i spank them on combat.

i wouldn't mind getting a snes, or even getting mine going again. i think i need a power cable for mine and if i remember correctly, i couldn't find one at radioshack that would work.

I remember days like that. I always asked my brother why he'd blow on it, and he'd say somthing like "It cleans it!" and I'd be like "how? does dust slow down the game or something?" Yeah, those days sucked. Now I got cd's that die with a scratch. Sooo much better.

Try Skate Or Die! while you'r at it. Makes for a nice little dueo when the two are played with eachother.

I think I had to buy mine on ebay. They stopped selling them a long while ago. Ebay, or go to a gamer freinds house. They should have one.

(and blowing in the bottom of the NES games brings out the good juju and allows the game to actually load. heh.)

I gave this kid I worked with when I was 15 my copy of Secret of Mana, and he never gave it back I love that game.

No, but I've used an EMU 6400 Turbo before...

Kidding. There are emulators for PSP. I played a snes emulator today on a colleaques PSP.

I wan't to see an N64 emulator for my PSP. I'll be heavan.

I have all these emulators Genesis, SNES, NES, Playstation, N64.

i've still got my genesis / mega drive emulators , but i only got them so i can find out what games to go retrohunting for.

my megadrive v1 and megacd v1 (genesis v1 and segacd v1) has pride of place ontop of my centre speaker between my screens. i love it its the shit.

i play sonic cd every night as well as streets of rage and golden axe on my mega cd

i love side scrollers.

unfortunately it'll be moved out of the way once i get my 360. but i think thats a good competitor.

OF course you NEED a worthy opponent for these to be fun ..however you can practice playing combat by placeing something heavy on the fire button and tilting the joystick lol !!
