Someone recently told me that I wouldn't regret playing Morrowind. I'm not big on RPGs but I picked it up any way for Christmas. After doing some research online I found out it is a very powerful game. I likewise did the same search for Neverwinter Nights 2, and that seems even better.

So then, which do you prefer? I've picked up both either way, and plan on playing both all the way through (or as much as I can stand at least).

I like the idea of playing with friends and having a DM (NWN2), which as far as I can tell is the only difference between the two games other then the most obvious.

Thoughts?

I hate MMORPGs, go with morrowind - same game experience, less annoying 13 year old kids bitching about how "my +60 strength sword of destiny pwns your weak ass dagger"

but for fucks sake, get ES4:Oblivion.....

Dude. NWN 2 is not an MMORPG.
It is playable online amongst a small group of folks but it is not "massive".

Warcraft, Everquest, COH, Tabula Rasa, those are MMORPGs and with the amazing "ignore" feature you too can play and simply ignore the idiots.

Unless, of course, you are in one of the major cities and have the trade channel on!!

You can still ignore individuals. There is no limit to the length of your ignore feature

I'm gonna go with NWN2 just because of the online. Though I will pay both in deep detail for sure. Too much to do and see!

I really like NWN2, and it's got a great story and decent interaction between your character and the ones in the game.

I hear the expansion pack for it is worth getting as well.

You can Oblivion online. I love all the Elder Scrolls.
