C'mon you cold hearted goths, admit it; when Aeris died in FFVII you shed at least one tear or got one of those huge lumps in your throat the first time. I'll even admit it. I never thought a video game could make a person cry. I don't think any game out there can match the emotion that FFVII produces.

I didn't cry, however i'll admit i was shocked... I was pissed too, because i'd wasted a lot of time building her up instead of the other surviving characters, because she had all the healing magic... I never did finish that game. Help Us Make A Difference!

You know.. that was the only time I was surprised when I played that game... but really I didn't care all that much since I never used her. (\ /)

I couldnt care less when she died. I had waited the whole game for a good looking scene, i was just amaysed by how awsome it looked, i never used her so i dont care that she died. Acts of men are better than acts of god.

I can't wait until tonight
when you hold me nice and tight
I'm so anxiously awaiting your kiss
and the moans of happiness
Wanting you to touch me everywhere
while my tongue is caressing you there
and then you softly pull my hair
I'm just thinking of ways to please you
and the ways that you soothe
the places that you touch
make me tingle so much
I wish you could touch me now
but your not here so I don't see how
so I'll just go on thinking
thinking so hard that I'm not even blinking
of all the ways you make me freaky.

She was integral to the story, but fairly useless as a character. Was i the only dope who tried to build her up any? Help Us Make A Difference!

probably alliance, she was a weak character that the only positive point of her was that she could heal and that in itself wasnt that great of a power b/c you had others that could do it as well.I personally smiled when it happened b/c it helped the story with a huge twist. **Winces** Oh yeah I built her up too...**Grrr** HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW SHE'D DIE!! NO ONE TOLD ME!!
....Yeah I cried...but not for the reason you'd think, I cried due to the fact that all those days I spent building her up....all down the drain because someone decided it would be a good idea to kill the weak girl off.
Ah she still sucked, at least the killing scene was good..**Grumble**

No, and the reason is simply this, my interest in Sephiroth's wrath was tremendous by the end of the first disk so I expected it to end with some crazy-ass shit, however I thought it would be a little more twisted than that, and I wished it would have had more to do with the white materia, the way they obsessed over a useless materia made you know it would have something to do with the ending especially considering how traumatic losing Aeris was so I thought it could have done some wild shit and you would end up chasing it throughout the game, along with Sephiroth and the black materia, then, near the end the materia would be destroyed and when the lifestream starts flowing and shit, Cloud could have a flashback of the part when the white materia was destroyed, but it would be deeper and he would see that the fragments were fed back to the earth and they took supposition in arousing the lifestream to save the planet, and maybe something to do with Aeris's spirit also.

I hated eight, it was so gay, prime squaresoft gaming but the storyline was cheesy as cheddar, gunswords are pretty cool though....

ach! shiezekoph! 8 was a VERY good story... the only thing that dragged it a bit was the cheesy antics of Zell and Selphie... everything else was great!... though i must say, the best storlyine in an RPG has to be a tie between FFT and Vandal Hearts 2 ___Nick_the_Rogue___ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. It's been a while since I played FF tactics, but I recall that I didn't find it that entertaining, the job levels were ingenuitive, but thats about all I can say about it. As for Vandal Hearts, I never played it.
Oh yeah, my favorite part about FF8 was the card games, I loved those.

I laughed when she died, a jolly good show it was. Wise man say: Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.
