also i created a new character named Jiludan, he is Halis now, but i am trying to get him out of there.

I will go on in abit.. I have a Fine Steel Scimitar and a fine steel two handed sword... if you started a Barbarian though they are cool... and I have a ranger close to there.. Everfrost is a good place to hunt its right next to Halas.. newbie area is good there and really good newbie quests too for Barbs.. All I can really do to help your DE though is get you stuff cuz I do not know Neriak all that well.... I know of none of the DE quests.... The two swords I have dropped off Gobs in Highpass... lvl 30 warrior Goblins tuff crittters but easily handled with a good group hehe.. and they always or most usually drop Fine Steel weapons hehe.. I usually selll them to merchants for 5-8PP and you can buy them from merchants but cost like 60+PP.... I can give both to you if you want.... just have to take a stroll down from Highpass heh

tell me where to met you, and the reason i choose the barbarian was the DE was getting killed all the time. we must find a better way to comunicate. fuck i'd call ya if i had to. :-)

I do have ICQ.. it is posted in the mod forum.... Yes good idead to play a Barb till you know the game better.. evil races are the hardest to play in the game..
Keep your DE though as he has some cash and you can always go back and try again with him.. I am going on in awhile here... what class of Barb did you start.. I think they can only be warrior, rogue, or Shaman...

warrior to be honest. reminded me of a character i read about but had a magical background as well.

Tanks are wonderful I will bestow upon your Barb a two handed fine steel sword hehe... then you will be able to deliver some damage.... find you guild leader for the warrior guild in the pit of doom(Thats what its called hehe) and give him the note you start with.. then right click on him and he will give you some free practice points..( you get five per lvl) put them all in two hand slash... you get access to new skills as you raise in lvls..
I think at lvl13 you get duel wield.. then you might want to take up two one hand slash weapons.. but till then you will deal alot of damage with a two hand sword ehe
Also wander around Halas for a bit and find the Banker( gives you a place to store stuff. an extra eight slots for Backpacks and items) also stores coin... your guild leader and trainers( the trainers will sometimes have quests for you) Then take the raft across the little lake and goto everfrost... there you will go down a ramp and find small Gnolls and Gobbies to kill.. I am waiting for my wife to goto her parents before getting on... she says I play too much heh

already spent the 5 points, found the guild leader, but i iwll look for the banker. how many characters do you have?

I have three, I am going on.. logging Mithrial my Ranger on then running to Halas.. show you the newbie area then get Dyshade come down the hill and give you the Sword

Imay have some time tomorrow to go to Highpass and get you some armour.. the gnolls there drop it.. hehe I would rather power lvl you to 8 or 9 so you can group with my ranger heh

I went LD.. and she is home sooo... the guy you take the four Gnoll Scalps too is Phil Esinrap... he stands by the guild and wanders a bit.. look for him when you get four.. + hail and talk to him.. he does more also..

He gives you the first of I think eight monk headbands you can get... though I might just Kill that monk in the QH and get his..
