I went to Comp USA yesterday and bought an additional 256mb of memory for my slow-ass computer for only $60. After installing it the difference was incredible. All my games, including huge games like Black and White, ran so much more quickly. So if you ever have problems with computer games running slowly, more memory will most likely fix it. Prices have dropped on memory. Buy now!

memory is a good upgrade, but sometimes you don't need to spend money to get your computer working better. a lot of problems can be solved by updating your version of direct x and the drivers for your sound & video cards especially since games are so reliant on direct x.

Always get the fastest memory that your board can handle, the increase in performance is quite astonishing even from 100mhz to 133mhz.

i'll remember that when i decide to play computer games... the only computer game that i'm going to start off with is the blairwitch... i have dying to play that game... so when ever i do get that game and it runs slow... i'll know to come here

I have 786 MB in both my systems. I do not see why I should get more, for the current uses it has...

A warning, using more then 512 MB of memory in a Win95/98/ME system can lead to problems! The windows disk caching has a bug in it that will lead to out of memory error messages. A fix for that is at Microsoft.com:
