Last year I dressed up as a TV licence inspector and called at every door who didn't own a licence. Scared the life out of them until I said, "Trick or treat".
This year I will go as the Scream. Got the mask and the blood thing works well.
Additional:
Last year we ran short of a few supplies for the trick or treaters. To top our worries, mum forgot to get shake and vac. I asked the dog to remind my mum but oh no, he goes sleeping in his basket and therefore totally forgets my request.

Why would one need a television license? I heard something about the BBC being funded by a fee having to do withTV's. Is that where it comes from?

Great Britain is the only country that has to have a TV licence to own and watch a tv set. The fee is paid to the BBC. This is due to the BBC not having advertisements on any of their channels. How high are they willing to put the licence fee?

Was in South Kensington this afternoon and saw some cute school kids. They were talking about dressing up as frankenstein and dracula on their way back home. I still think the scream mask is scary. But is Halloween over rated?

Je suis une mademoiselle I just know there are all kinds of jokes about losing one's television license b/c of being unfit to operate one. It'd be nice to have a choice about the license, but what a contribution to the world! I get my news from BBc News internet radio.
