the kind of knife i'm into are nothing but switchblade and butterfly knives... those are my two favorite kind of knives... those would be the ones i would seriously like to have as a collection. but they are illegal to have though.

I have a few interesting knives all i got from my grandpa after he died. My favorite has to be the Masai knife, well short sword really it is about 19" long comes with the distinctive Masai sheath dyed in traditional red ( made form a mordant of cows blood and various flora!). It is at least 100 years old because of the blade style and my grandpa got it from a very old Masai!, who told him about fighting the Germans at the turn of the 19th century! AND my grandpa's first visit to the Masai was in the early 60's. I also have a spear and sheild from these warriors of Eastern Africa

The second is a Ghurka Kukri that my granpa got form a real Ghurka during WW2. the ghurkas are a people from Nepal who serve in the British army and have done so for over 200 years. The Kukri has become a distinctive feature of these excellent soldiers and this thing depite being 60 plus years old is as razor sharp as the day it was made!

thridly I have a Fairbain-Sykes commando dagger WITH DRIED BLOOD ON IT!!!!!!, again that my grandpa got from a real Royal Marine Commando in WW2. Story is this guy used it in the Narvik raid! This weapon is elegant and deadly and i always get a kick out of seeing the price of lesser examples of these weapons at gun shows! and the look on the guys face whne I tell him what I have! real deal S/Fs are worth ALOT of money.

I also ahve a couple of AK 47 bayonetes that i "borrowed" from some Serbians when i was a Peacekeeper in the former Yugoslavia. Figured they would only use them to rape women and kill babies so taking them from them was not such a bad idea

you can put knives on the shooty ends of guns to make them more fun! theyve been doin that for looooong time now! LOL!

I like carbon steel blades. I also like stag handles and bone handles.

Frontier Bowie knives are the bomb.

heh... you know, I know where to get those, and they are legal , that is in Wi, just not to carry... ^_^ that is the butterfly knives, they can be operative... however the switchblades must be stuck in the up position.

but eyah, butterfly knives, preferably the larger ones.
