Having your own private swimmingpool is that something typically american?
Hardly anyone here has one....only maybe 2 or 3 really rich people

Anyway, I don't like swimmingpools, people peeing in it, you just _know_ they do.....and besides that it's like a meatmarket....people looking at you, brrrr

If I go swimming (don't like it) (which is maybe once in 3 years LOL) I go to secret hidden spots on the beach where no one else comes

Not that i know of.... but could be wrong.... mine is shared amongst those who live in my Condo complex and is maintained with the HOA fees we all pay

My parents have a swimming pool as well..... civilized people do not pee in pools.... one would hope

When in a public pool, bet on it that people do....

They put dye in pools now so that when someone pees it goes green or purple or something..

Damn pussies. I used to swim in public pools every day when I was a kid. My immune system was tempered by body waste, now I don't get sick so I do like swimming, but as of late I have started having minor respritory problems, and I don't like being around all those other people, so I just don't swim

I went to a public pool today. I haven't had a proper, lane-style swim for seven years, due to having to keep a small child from drowning.
I did 1km, and my legs started disobeying as walked back to my car, and the steering wheel felt like it weighed a ton.

Anyway, it was a great pool. A little shabby, but cheap, and populated by old ladies with flowery bathing caps and old men that sung in the shower afterwards. Definitely going back.

I nearly drowned once upon a time. Swimming isnt my thing.

Swimming is great fun anywhere... Except at the beaches here... I won't go in the water at our beaches. Southern California beaches are frightening. Otherwise swimming is grrreat.
