mixed drink?
Serious DiscussionDiscuss mixed drink? in the Discussions forums; back in my drinking days i was at a party where a guy was experimenting with mixing drinks and well i was pretty much the guy he tested them on......
back in my drinking days i was at a party where a guy was experimenting with mixing drinks and well i was pretty much the guy he tested them on...there was one that i liked called aquaduct...anyone heard of it or know how to make it?
You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

if you know what liquors he used, than i might be able to help...but if he was an expirementer, it was probably one of his own recipes and not something commonly known, or if it is, more than likely a different name...

Ingredients: 1.0 tsp Apricot Brandy
1.0 each Twist Lemon
1.0 tsp Lemon juice
1.0 tsp Lime juice
1.5 oz. Vodka
1.0 tsp White Curacao
Directions: In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the vodka, Curacao, apricot brandy, lime juice, and lemon juice. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.

i remember drinking it after a few beers and it was pretty good tasting. he only made enough for like a glass or 2 so i never got a chance to drink it again.

heres one i made a couple nights ago. vodka (as much as you like) lime cordial (as much as you like) lemonade (as much as you like) and archers aqua tropical (as much as you like)..though the archers stuff i used was limited edition..
its a fruity vodka!

never actualy had either a black or white russian but i have had a slippery nipple, which is just sambuca and bailys (i think)..i've had loads of shots but i can never remember what went to making them.

i don't have mixers but i like my drinks pure. i like Russian vodka, chilled in a freezer and add some lemon juice or for proper drink, a gd scotish olddie whiskey. helps the pain!!!!
