Go to your local chinese supermarket, they have shitloads of marinades and yummy sauces. If you buy from a western supermarket, they charge too much - often it's coz they package it in single use portions (and because they are greedy)

oooo my mum used to make this red chinese marinade for chicken wings and pork ribs ... oh god ... touch me! they were awesome!! but now she buys in a packet from the asain grocery store ... not as good but still tasty!!!

try this ...

gets some chicken breasts, chuck them in a bown, chuck in a diced onion, a can of coke and a packet of french soup mix ... let it marinate and then either bake, grill or barbeque them .... delicious!

or a quick and easy cucumber salsa salad

dice up cucmbers, capsicums and tomatoes into tiny pieces, grate in some lime rind, squeeze in the lime juice, add a few splashes of balsalmic vinegar and add in some chives and chili flakes ... the best salad for a barbeque
