Compared to most New England states, yes. Compared to most others in the US, not really.

I'd say part of it is the funky shape. If you go from the "toe" is southwest Virginia and yea, it's gonna take 6-8 hours to get to NOVA. <s>'Course why anyone would really want to go to NOVA is beyond me </s></s>

hey now. i love NOVA. I have an assload of friends up there. infact i'm going there saturday.

I dunno, seems most of the people that I've met from there are pricks. Aside from my current roommate they all seem to have that "holier than thou" thing going for them. Of course this is me generalizing for a whole area of people. Meh. And I generally just don't like the area. I like my mountains and cows.

i love the people there. however they are best kept at about an arm's distance.

I did bartend in a place called ocean view where there are a lot of locals where I got to do such fun things as wrestle broken pool sticks from bikers before the stabbed a rival in the face with it, remove a few unsavory bitches from my bar by the hair and or throat and/or throat hair, and dodge flying beer bottles. It was kinda fun though.

Northern Virginia for life? I live in Fairfax myself. Not going to be doing much for Halloween. I'll be dressed as someone without any money. Luckily I'll start my new job a few days after that, so huzzah.

It's been my experience that people from northern VA would drown if it rained, what with their noses being turned up so high.


And lord knows when I open my mouth up there, I get a look that screams "Deliverance".

That's because there's too many fucking preppy kids. And I mean actual preppy. Not someone who was more popular in your High School than you, like, fucking retarded teenagers who work five hours a week at Old Navy, drive 60,000$ cars their parents bought them, listen to rap music that they blast way too loudly, have vanity license plates and designers clothes and mousse in their hair, and, and, and....
