Ah Billy, there's no point in talking to you. You're not listening. The catholic faith and strategy?
I don't even know where to begin with the mindless drivel you're screaming.
Print this topic out, show it to your local priest, and ask them to absolve you of your stupidity. Then ask them to help you understand all of the things you have clearly missed.
Maybe you'll learn something. I doubt it though.

"That's a very generic comment. I won't even reply to it."
thank god for small favors.. i gather eveyones just a little tired of hearing your inane banter.
"Oh now that's a good comment! Not. What are you talking about? That the church commanded power that the nazis wanted all to themselves? *shakes head* please provide a clear argument."
uhh why do you think so many WASPs hated the incomming "irish invasions" to the US? because they were catholic, and they didnt want the pope controlling the US through too many catholics here.. dumbfuck. its the same deal in Nazi Germany, it was the same deal in England it was the same deal everywhere back in the day.
"Not exactly true. They were not very vocal, nor did they openly come out and take action or verbally state a position, but they did send aid, and take military action covertly. But you're point is well observed."
LOL!!!! youre kidding right? ever heard of the stories of shipfulls of Jews comming to the US only to be turned back by the government??? go research history little boy...
"True. All very true, but the point is, if you're a good christian then you live your life by the good book, the Bible. The bible teaches that you should help your fellow man, offer aid wherever it's required. The problem is, it's easy to say those words, and harder to act upon them. Sure the Pope should of said something, but as you've noted they would of been placing themselves in immediate jeapordy. "
exactly immediate jeprdy, were talking aout the destruction of the catholic church.. and for what? if they said something nothing would have happend the pope didnt command legions of soldiers.. his very country was allied to the Nazis, my great grandfather was imprisioned in a sugar work farm because he belonged to a anti-facist political party... he hadnt even done anything but as soon as the facists came ot power many clergymen were murdered along with teachers and the educated..same in germany.. what good would all of that done to protest? they would have been killed the bible doesnt teach you to kill yourself to save others.. it says that if you do it youre blessed, but it doesnt say to actually do it. Have you READ the bible?
"Being a member of any faith is not easy. You have to stand up for what you believe in, and be prepared to defend a way of life that you live by. Most people will not do that, and in this topic, we're discussing christians, and what their way of life means to them."
no shit? i thought we were discussing assholes that like to bash on christians because its the in thing to do. and boy is it ever...especially to bash on catholic.. hell even other christians join in on that.
"Don't forget this topic was created by a christian, and exists because he feels christians are slighted and not given respect or consideration. By way of reply, non christians are taking this opportunity to redress that point of view. You might want to remember that, and what christianity means to you, too."
I know what christianity means to me, so dont assume i dont and dont assume to know what i feel... you take yourself FAR too seriously...
This thread was started by some christian because he feels his faith is being attacked... big deal, my faith is attacked all the time i defend it when i can and i dont try to deny its faults its a man made religion its not infallible, no religions is, not even atheism is infallible..although some atheists seem to think otherwise.

The Nazis outlawed what they couldn't control; I don't think Catholicism was one of them. (But I'll check.) At that time also Mussolini had a sweetheart deal with Hitler; I don't think he would've marched into Italy without good reason. (Again, keeping in mind, the unified agenda there. And it was never to say that Hitler wouldn't have taken over the Church if he needed the money; he already had the power. | Hitler wouldnt have marched into Italy... Mussolinis blackshirts would have. The reason the pope was so easily able to be pushed around then wa because the catholic church was in danger.. they were literally srurrounded by facists. Hitler didnt want to take over the church because he didnt have to... fucking hell if he decided they werea threat he wouldnt take it over he would crush it like he did in germany... tey had already torn down thousands of churches... hitler and his nazis were more into teuton gods and aryan gods and all thatb lack magic bullshit...

"]Ah Billy, there's no point in talking to you. You're not listening. The catholic faith and strategy?"
and yet why do i get the feeling that you will try to blugeon me to death with more inane banter missing all issues and more self gratifying ego masterbation?
"I don't even know where to begin with the mindless drivel you're screaming. "
youre the only one screaming prostate.... youre the one going ooonnnn and oooonnn about inane psychobabble... youve barely even brought up any points... just attacked my method of delivering mine.. a REAL intellectual i see..
"Print this topic out, show it to your local priest, and ask them to absolve you of your stupidity. Then ask them to help you understand all of the things you have clearly missed."
Actually ive gone tit for tat with several priests when i was in CCD growing up.... alot of them actually agree with me.. i guess it must be shitty to have your fantasy like notions of the catholics dashed to bits by shreds of truth delievered by yours truly eh? well when you get around to reading up on the bible and such lemme know we can talk again.
"Maybe you'll learn something. I doubt it though. "
I learn new stuff everyday... for example today i learned that this little cunt named protocaol got his ass owned repeatedly when he couldnt muster up the facts on christians... and it was funny to watch him squirm when his fantasy like theories on christians were dispelled.

| No, I'm not kidding. They did send aid, and take covert action. Your point is still observed. As for sending refugees back, and doing research on history? I've nothing to add. I made a general point about the allied nations not taking immediate action upon learning of the Nazis plans. I said that they did take some action, and I left it there. You can mock and scream obscenities all day long, it doesn't change a thing does it?
I've nothing to say to you Billy, go back to church ask them for a history lesson.

As one who went to seminary (Episcopal Church - which is as close to Catholic without worshipping Mary and forget the guilt *lol*) I can only say this.
Jesus was a Jew. . .period.
and the hypocrasy prevelent in all forms of "church religions" is not a belief, it is fact. The Dogma alone associated with "church religions" will show you that they are ruled by man and not by any God. One perfect example is dogmatic law: The rules of man shall be honored in heaven. If the church says it is so, then it will be followed by God.
as man is by nature a hypocrite, man creating a religion is creating a hypocrasy.
yeah - this is the shit that got me kicked out.
and Met's point is extremely valid. You ask the congregation not to support God with their tithe, but to support theirs and each others comfort.
As a pagan, I support just as many if not more charities as your church does. So tell me... why exactly am I wrong in not believing in Christianity? I don't spout it to anyone... I go my own way and help who I can, but I do it because I want to help, not because I am guilted into it by a guy sitting next to me dropping a 20 in a basket that's passed around.
....?

"Billy, as usual you missed the point."
Oh gee what was the point then? that Christians should act the way YOU think they should according to some fucked up and incorrect shit you thought up? get a life fuckhead.
"Yep, cover to cover. Unlike you I'm well read, and able to assimilate all forms of information."
it certainly shows, ive noticed that you use this argument before.. "im well read unlike you" lol... well read only means youve read alot... maybe you should take the time to digest the shit your reading instead of remembering pretty words and terms that you can use on a message forum you egocentric fuck-wad.
"Man made religion?"
Yup... meaning its fallible... its run by man kind.. not a diety (the church i mean and the religion) therefore suceptable to human error... duuuuh....
"No, I'm not kidding. They did send aid, and take covert action. Your point is still observed. As for sending refugees back, and doing research on history? I've nothing to add. wiht lend lease we sent aid to England dumbass... not to the jews...i find it hilarious that you will mock the catholic church (under the foot of an oppressive facist regiem by the way) for not taking action and then ignore the fact that the US "THE GOOD GUYS" did even less... we only entered the war to save our own asses. Do you believe the civil war was fouht over slavery too? grow up child.
"I've nothing to say to you Billy, go back to church ask them for a history lesson."
youre just sore because i owned you 3 or 4 times now... but hey im sure youll keep replying even though youve said youve nothing to say a few times now and that you wouldnt bother replying... its evident you only speak the bullshit you do to hear the sound of your own voice unfortunatly its bombastic drivel coated with your own egocentric bullshit.. pull your head out of your ass you dick slurping ass pirate.

im not saying its wrong to be pagan, just dont fucking contradict yourself by bashing christians as greedy when your own religion is self serving as any other institution is.

Wicca was created in the 60's, not paganism... paganism was around before Christianity was. That's not disputed by anyone. Not all Pagan's are wiccans... I seem to remember going on and on about this at length before... but once again, I have not been heard by you.... Paganism encompasses ALL earth centered religions. Wicca is a religion in itself. please paganism isnt a real religion... its a term for "religions" based on earth worship... there is no such thing as a pagan, you had druids, and you have wiccans, and you had whatever it is the native americans were they were all pagan religions... not pagans. Pagan is not a set system of beleifs..
and what do you mean car wreck that DF has become? were WAY better off than when you and sire were calling shots but not as good as the PRE sire days.

this is now being moved to religion You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

not exactly, paganism as a term encompasses earth centered religions since the 20th century, before it was used as a description to all non christian religions

telling someone who asks your religion youre pagan is like me telling someone who asks my race im Eurasian.... even though im really italian american but pagan is just a blanket term. Even when someone says "im christian" they have a specific denomination.

hea·then ( P ) Pronunciation Key (hthn)
n. pl. hea·thens or heathen
One who adheres to the religion of a people or nation that does not acknowledge the God of Judaism, Christianity, or Islam.
Such persons considered as a group; the unconverted.
One who is regarded as irreligious, uncivilized, or unenlightened.
Such persons considered as a group.
and that pagans were non-christian.
it's not really that big of a deal... Paganism, is not a religion ... it's a belief system.
