I really get irritated when I see women in Burqas talking to non-burqa wearing women. Even if they are talking like normal people I know that inside they believe that what they are doing is right.. and the other girl with out the burqa will go to hell.. the other girl is BAD.. and is doing something horribly wrong..

I really feel like telling them to shaddap.. and go back to taking care of their husbands or daddys.. and to take their brain dead stupid ideas and get lost.

If they are being oppressed into wearing a Burqa by fanatical assholes.. then I feel sorry for them. If they are in the USA.. then they have the power to free themselves.

If you are willfully wearing a stupid bag on ur head then those biatches should stay consistent with their ideas and shut the hell up and not talk to me.. not talk to other 'infidels'.. to stop driving cars.. I hate the whole holier than thou attitude.

In most branches of Islam they only wear Burkas if they are married and if they don't it's a reflection on their husband rather than the wife.

A muslim woman not waering a burka is like a christian woman not wearing a hat in church, it's an out dated custom that has very flimsy ties to religion, it's more about local customs than religion.

Men and women in arabia wear shawls and a bag over them selves to protect themselves from the heat and the sand. This tradition moved around the world because all of a sudden it merged with the religion.

Now men use it to keep their women in check. Its very disgusting actually.. I really hate burqas and mullahs who enforce this stuff.

In the Taureg culture it's the men who wear the Burkas, Seikh women don't wear Burkas, i'm not sure of the names of other ones

The burka is like a wedding ring, once they are married or even betrothed (hence some young girls wearing them in the event of arranged marraiges) they reserve themselves for their husbands (except for the Taureg where the men reserve themselves for their wives).
It isn't religious it's cultural, If it was religious wouldn't all Muslim women wear Burkas?
