I´m Jewish, practising and going to a reform (liberal shul with gays and lesbians very welcome too :-)

9) None/chaosist. Mostly nothing really but I like some aspects of chaosim and discordianism. If they are even isms.

I'm a bit of an odd combination...

My family is Roman Catholic and so they drag me to mass every sunday and I even attended the local catholic grade school. But, since a presentation in English class a few years ago by GemsaMay, I've been reading up on Wiccan and, much to my parents dismay, it's not just a passing fad.

I´m just curious which religions ppl have here, it wasnt about wether your whole identity is entwined with religion.

for some it might be, but personally I think identity is compiled from a lt more facets

Officially, I'm an Atheist...However, I looooove invoking gods and stuff just for fun. Usually I'll pray or curse to the Norse gods, thought lately (after seeing gangs of new york) I like calling upon St. Michael. Ah, and then there are all the great Phoenician fertility gods... I guess you could call me a Mytholodeist. I make-beleive in whatever cool gods I want when the situation calls for it.

I just needed to blow off steam, sorry. Officially, I'm Episcopal christian and I want to be a priest. Unofficially, I don't really have faith in anything but duplicitous nature of meaning. I have seen and am inspired and encouraged by the capacity faith has for changing peoples' lives for the better. I see that people struggle to find meaning and faith and, often, when they find it, it changes them in ways they didn't think could happen.

I want to be a priest because I want to help people find meaning, even if what gives them meaning has no value to me, I would rather they be happy than I be right.

I'm pagan. But with a few beliefs of my own.

I am something of a mix, myself. I believe in the art of self-improvement, proof upon verification of empirical evidence, nad there is a nationalistic twist to it. I believe in the possibility of a "Creator" but I think that there is no divine being watching over us. I believe in the possibility of a force, call it karma or whatever you want, that punishes people within their lifetime.

This "religion" requires no praying/meditating. Instead, this requires a work-out routine, the gathering of knowledge (reading, studying, or whatever), the seeking of the facts, and the "debunking" of things deemed false (those without verification of empirical evidence).

Certain things deemed "unexplained" should always be carefully scrutinized and are left to the individual as to whether or not they should be deemed "possible" or "impossible." Usually, these things are scrutinized in a way as to be labeled "plausible" or "implausible."

religion i can't have because no one will agree with my thoughts until im gone. so i guess the only thing close to a religion i have is this forum.

I have to say that any religion is just a way to confuse people and get their money to the "church". By taxes or some other way.. There is no religion that's not taking advantage on people. Kill all religions and keep your money and stop wasting your time, there's nothing up there... heh hee
