8 and 9, sortof. I'm a gnostic pagan, which basically means that I believe that most of what is written in the Nag Hammadi texts (Coptic language, discovered circa 1945) of both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible is true.

Basic beliefs:
-God, Iao, is a god, but not the only god
-Iao was created by Pistis Sophia, a goddess, without consent of her deity consort
-Therefore Iao was banished to this realm within the veil so that he would believe he is the only god and create a world of his creatures to his liking

I'm baptist, well, that's how I grew up to know and be, but I don't act like

I aint no protestant, jew, muslim or catholic, don't know what I am under religion.
But all I got is God. He disciplines me when I need disciplining. He uses me and lets me know that he wants too, even though I'll fight with him. He's spoken to me through other people and lets me do some pretty amazing things.
He's blessed me with all things in heaven and earth and blessed me with things that no man can ever give me.
God's too big for religion and manmade ways. I just realise it's me and Him and NOONE can take me out of his arms. Not even demons or angels. I have authority over them. I'm considered Holy and righteous in the eyes of God even though it sounds incredibly unrealistic and pathetic to man.
At the moment, He is teaching me in prophesy and how to live according to His prophetic word. So I'd like to share with you what he has revealed to me if any of you would like to move in prophesy: If you live a life of conviction (live what you believe), then through that conviction, prophesy will be given. Man will be afraid of a man who will live what he believes, declares the truth and see's into other's secret lives.

I believe in a jumble of things, none of which conform to a specific religion.


But I am horribly pessimistic and skeptic. I dont get how one can believe so wholeheartedly something that can never be proven true. I simply dont understand why people can't be happy with the fact that they dont know who created them. Its not something that we will find out for sure anyways ever in our life, so why all the controversy and anger to those who dont follow your beliefs? The fact is, we dont know.

No wonder I was confused about religion.

Growing up, I didn't believe in traditional religion, so I looked for the alternative - mainly wicca.

Tried to convince myself I believed in this, which worked for a while - then the delusion wore off after a friend died and I questioned my beliefs.

I'm now at my most happy being an aethiest, and it makes the most sense too.
