Whenever I find myself participating in a religious ceremony, like my step-sister's wedding last weekend, I cannot help feeling like something of a poser. It is a well-known fact: Any male's computer left unattended for any period of time will spontaneously generate porn for no apparent reason.

Yeah, the wager breaks down a little in that one can't adopt a religion just enough to have a great afterlife; the motivation has to be genuine. But I think the argument is still sound; the difficulty is in becoming able to believe something you didn't believe before, or choosing to keep believing what you previously accepted unquestioningly.

still a Satanist, now going on 22 years You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

BTW, my brother describes himself as wiccan, and he talks to invisible dragons. Is that a legitimate part of wicca, or is my brother a "wacco"?
Also, going on the assumption that my b. really is wiccan, what might it symbolize to have a rock in each of the four corners of one's room?

I follow no religion. I am simply living my life trying not to make any devine being mad. Why I don't go to church: 1) What is the big deal in going to some building every Sunday? 2)Isn't the Lord God everywhere What if we chose the wrong religion? 4)If God was so powerful, how come he has not intervened, ever? 5)In the world he supposedly created, how come some nations have all they need, furtile soil and rain where as places like Africa are being denied of their fare share of the Earth? Hardly fair is it. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Can I like your lemon sorbet while I graze Manson's knee with a loofer? i am wicca goth, and talking to dragons is completely neccesary. many of the wiccan chants are callings to the spirits of goth dragons. theyre black. (by black i mean in color, not like african american, unless said african american was also black. then yes, theyre black)

Possibly a Wacco or a Wiccan. But he may just believe himself to be and doesnt really know what hes talking about. Ummm. I dont know about him talking to invisible dragons, because personally, I find that to be quite a bit over the top. But there are many different creatures and such on the astral plae. Any that you can imagine. The thing is though, your brothers not in the astral plane. So maybe he believes that he's talking to his Spirit/animal guide. It possibly gives him comfort. Also, the rocks in the corners of the room possibly represent the four quarters. Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Or they could have been enchanted to dispel/ keep out evil and negativity.
By the way, i'm a Wiccan. ^_^

On another note...

if forced to put a label to myself, I'd have to say Agnostic. I appreciate philosophy and spirituality over religion by far.
