Religion is the childrens word for sex in this country. Just look at the catholic church. Not to blast on those of you who were catholic (unless you've been molesting little kids and then go to pergatory, heaven won't take you and we don't want you in hell). I follow the spirit. Relogious regulations make little sense to me, I can't understand why they base changing rulles on the eternity of time. It's like a giant oxymoron in robes and silly hats.

See, that is why I have a belief system........ no stupid fucking rules and regulations that I have to follow to get to my paradise....... it really pisses of Jehova's Witnesses, and Mormons when I tell them that. It also pisses them off when I tell them that my god doesn't want me believing in their god, because my god thinks their god is a pompus, impotent sadistic asshole who is too lazy to do anything, and explains everything away with a so called divine plan, and yet says we have free will

I hate this kind of logic. It's like you think you understand/know about how every other person perceives religion. Take a step back and incorporate some fucking respect into your almighty belief system. I'm not an advocate for any religion, but at least I don't go traipsing around rattling my tongue off about free will as if it's the most sacred thing on the planet. Free will is a Western cultural dogmatic belief, if you haven't realized. It is, in a sense, a Religious Belief. One that most Westerners collectively submit to. Go to another place on the globe, and other aspects are valued on a higher level.

I randomly picked on you, by the way. Don't take offense. I'm just pissy at how blind Western society is....logic is a flawed system. As is science. Go live in a foreign country for 5 years. It'll do ya some good. Same goes for me.

Nah its not wester beliefs that make me think about free will. I am just talking about shit that the bible thumpers talk about. Those are the ones that I say that kind of stuff to. Although I do believe that we are in control of our lives, we are not in complete control. The major events are pre-destined, they are gonna happen no matter what we do, others are of our own causing. It just pisses me off that the hardcore religious types go off saying that when god made man he gave us free will, yet god has a divine plan for us, a pre-chosen course that our exsistance is gonna take us. If that is true, then we really don't have free will, it doesn't matter what the fuck we do its not gonna make a difference. But like I said, I mainly say that shit to piss off the hardcore people.

I still think it's better to believe in nothing: in the sense that there's always more to learn or to unlearn. I would think that most people are past their bitching and griping about hardcore fundamentalists. They're a dying breed. Kinda like Crispix. No one eats Crispix anymore.
