Okay, the quote isn't what I'm here for.. I want to talk to the man/boy/girl.. what ever who put it up. I believe everyone has a right to their own damn beliefes so you believe whatever you want. As an ex-Satanist - pentacles in Satanism are called pentagrams, simple and easy....

They are upside down to Wiccans.

Anyway, I'm a Wiccan for a long time now. I used to be a catholic I think. Why are so many people closed minded? I don't understand why it's only okay to believe in one damn thing when all of us have different opinions on what to think say or do. I like my religion because I feel FREE! Yay! Who doesn't love free stuff? (If you don't like free shit... *shakes her head* There is something wrong with you lol) No but seriously, Believe in what you will, there can't only be one right way... I feel that we all end up with the God/desses we worship through out our lives. I'm headed to Summerland! WOOOOH!!!! That could so be a theme park.. ^_^

Cool.. Pentagrams for us are either upside down or just stars. We have things in common... this explains why most people think I worship Satan... ^_^ Thank you by the way..

A pentagram and a pentacle are one and the same even if turned upside down or rightside up. Even sideways

Though some will argue that a pentagram is a five pointed star hedged in by lines this is misinformation as well. A pentagram is a pentacle is a five pointed star. No difference.

rather than "be free to believe what i want" you might consider "be free to seek what's really true, and accept nothing short of it."
i'd rather know what's real than pick a title out of a pile and say "yay this is what i wanna be."
and i'm not saying you need to accept what i see as real. i'm saying that if you can't explain why what you "believe" is real, don't believe it.

There is a reason I chose this religion you know. I did't open a book and throw a dart and become what name it landed on. This religion makes more sence to me than any other out there. There's nothing that says "This man walked the earth and healed people and shit" There isn't anything wrong with choosing what religion I want to be. I chose it because I believe it. We don't have people who walk around hitting people on the forehead and yelling, "YOU'RE HEALED!" Miracles aren't a big part in Wicca, so I don't have to sit around going, "If you're really up there, do this for me!" I do things for myself and I know that they're going to happen because I did it and didn't sit around going, "so when is that money going to get here?" Ya know? And again, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying this is the way I feel.. and this is what I believe...

the post i quoted did not state that you felt there was a good reason to believe what you do. you spoke of your religion as though it were a fashion you just decided upon.

you could have just as easily said "i have reasons to believe what i do" and i'd have digressed.
