I Don't claim any religion. Is there even a god? My soul was rasied to believe so, yet my logic soon catches up with me.There are times in which I swear I am the witness to a high being or divine intervention, but are these just coincedences? Are they all? Right now, I would say I am at the point in my life where I border around the concept of god being out there, and no one being out there.

hmmm.....well first, i am a "Catholic" but don't give a shit....i go to church with my family on Christmas eve.....i like christmas.....anyway, i'm a EH and am all philosophy and whatever.......anyway, i believe in two realms of existence....the metaphysical/spiritual/God-like/coiencidental/Karma realm.....and the physical/logical/eh? realm.........there could very well be a "contingent being" that exists, something that did makes this happen.....whether it is aware of this, whether it is even aware, (perhaps we are it which is aware) is debateble.......i don't think some smug-fuck sitting on a throne with his long white beard and golden rod while choir of angels sing requiems as the rusty fucking gates open up went: "And I, God, created this piece of shit in just seven days! Now bow to me!"

too few it seems-I personally am agnostic, believing that god is perfect but when that information is filtered down through a human bieng who then turns it into an institutions or puts it's precepts on paper it enevitably fails-all religious organizations are coruppt by thier very nature.

I'm a man of science. Excludes most religions by nature so I chose none instead...

You can actually be Christian or Jewish (2 of the big 3 religions) and still have beliefs in science. In fact, science got it's start in religion - something few people seem to know. You do have to deny evolution, and without hearing good evidence it is hard to do. But if you heard a good, Christian scientific explanation of way evolution is false you will think again about it. Not all people get into religion blindly and without good evidence. I say this as a person who wanted to be a Paleontologist and evolutionary science was my life when I was kid. Look for truth and you will find it. You can even find good, scientific - yet Christian answers on the internet. Creation came from a crafty God, not by accident. And you can NOT believe in Creation and evolution - which even I thought you could for a LONG time. Evolution (if true, check for youself - it isn't) would exclude most religions as you said, but science (including Biology) as a whole isn't excluded. It says even in Genesis, the first book of the Old Testament that it is part of our duties as human beings to name all the creatures of the earth and look out for them.

genesis is a mere retelling of the Babylonian Enuma Elish brought out of Babylon almost 10,000 years ago by good old Abraham.... there is also a thread within here covering this..... comparing both stories..... the Enuma Elish(((babylonian for From On High))) was taken word for word from the Sumerian Creation Mythos....

I would like to hear what you have to say, because I strong follower of the idea of Evolution for a long time. One thing I have to say about it is there is no complete proof for evolution, it comes to a point where you have to make a leap of faith and assume. I once thought you had to do that with Creation, but honestly you don't. Well anyway, give me a link if you can....
