Hmm, actually no he wasn't. You made a sarcastic comment towards him and he responded. If anything, you were the one being rude Guy, and I'll thank you not to give him a hard time just because he's new. I know you have a history of not being very nice to anyone, and I'm not even expecting you to listen, but I still think it's rather shitty of you to treat people the way I've observed you treating them, not just Cotton. I have no reason to be rosy when I walk into a forum that is supposed to be for everyone, but where people are always crapping all over my beliefs.

And you know what? Everyone accuses christians of trying to force their religion down eveyone else's throats, and that may be true of some christians, but I don't do it, I just defend my beliefs when they're under attack.

And I think there should be something said for the fact that I took the time to explain shit to this guy because he wanted to know. He then criticized me for not presenting it in a fashion that he liked. I'm not forcing my beliefs on him, and, in fact, I'm doign just the opposite by presenting beleifs that I find, personally, completely false, but I also didn't criticize the Jains for their beliefs or him for wanting to know.

It's really easy to be nice to people when they're saying lots of things that you agree with, but not so easy when they're insulting you, not for anything you've done, but for things they presume you've done just because of the beliefs you profess.

This, would actually be the comment I was referring to. It had nothing to do with all the shit you just spouted off to me Guy. I won't get into a long drawn out arguement with you. If you would've paid attention to what I said you'd know it had nothing to do with your religion at all. Now, shoosh. :pill:

My answer to that question is that I am a Bright. I will argue my points in another thread if the need be.

while im to lazy to re-read through everything.....i think theres something to be said for actually UNDERSTANDING your own belifs. i come across alot of people who either spout crap without actually understanding what they are tallking about regarding what they belive (yes you do get them), or they are SO over the top, that they dont actually SEE what they are supposed to be following.

if you do explain yourself and others dont understand....then they dont understand, only reexplain it if they ask politly, otherwise whats the point, youll just always feel shitted on.

I'd have to say Wiccan. I was raised Catholic, but I didn't feel I my soul was. So I switched to a more earth based religion, that makes me feel all spiritual and what not!! ^_^

I cant say that I am anything specific. I have beliefs but they are hard to catagorize. There was this time that my friend (who was raised as a 7th day adventist) asked me "if you had to pick any religion to align yourself with what would it be?" "If I had to" I started "I'd have to say Buddhism." No sooner than three seconds after saying this his mother comes running into the room loudly pleading "DON'T DO THAT. EVERYONE'S DOING THAT!!". This was one of the most ridiculous situations I'd ever been involved in. It was funny in an offensive kind of way but hey some people believe that they have to force their beliefs on others and well that just bugs the hell out of me. If you want to know more about what I believe feel free to sak.
