1.07. The BOOK OF DOOM has been availible for mankind as long as they roamed this planet.
1.08. It exists in many forms and translations.
1.09. Each of its forms contains the keys that unlock the knowledge, power and wisdom of the ANCIENT EMPIRE.
1.10. With the power of the BOOK OF DOOM you will recive the keys so that you can work toward being accepted into
the GREAT INTERSTELLAR ORDER OF ALGOL.

3.15. The third realm of the Great Infernal Empire is the domain of the five Grand Ministers and secret Infernal Counsels,
whose names are: Asmodeus, Leviathan, Baal, Belphegor, and Lucifuge.
3.16. The fourth realm of the Great Infernal Empire is the domain of the Twelve Dukes, whose names are: Ashmunaday,
Kedemel, Set, Hasmoday, Sorath, Hekate, Lilith, Barzabel, Behemoth, Nambroth, Zazel, and Hismael.

The others I could maybe understand, but how did the (non-Fallen) angel of Birds wind up so high-ranking in the Demonic Hierarchy?

well several things I noticed about this book of doom...as long as men walked earth would be about caveman time and they didn't have a written language, I think that the first written language came around during sumeria...they only began domesticating animals around seven thousand bc, funny like enough the first triple deity showed up at that time also...so no demons or devils than. Many of the demons and devils listed haven't been around as long as man...they came into being with christianity, kind of a scapegoat way of "eliminating" old gods and goddesses...it sounds like a scarier version of satanism...or a parallel to the necronomicon...but I'll get specific dates if you want

its actualy niether its more the tree instead of the branch, satanism is a branch of the worship of lucifer, the chathlics blamed everything evil on satan and since lucifer ( the shuner of light) was already hated they basicly made the 2 angels one, even though lucifer fell, during the war, not sure when satan fell ( dont realy care for him much) but i know lucifer was the first to stand against god.

Actually the text pulled off quite nicely, up untill C3 where it began it's "Yesss we're just so eeevil" rant...
Ok, granted, the text was moderate, but by stating they dabble in "Black Arts" they are admitting to themselves that they are - and doing - something evil. (based on the assumption that the term "Black Arts" was brought into existance by the "White Arts" - there are no Black or White Art, only "Black" or "White" individuals emplying The Art in one form or another!)
"Evil" is a word meaning "wicked, bad, corrupt", and designated a group of people or actions by their counter-part(s)! Noone in their right state of mind go around proclaiming they are Evil, it is always the opposition that is evil!
Being evil is not a badge of honor to be worn proudly - being dubbed evil is only proof that you have enemies with conflicting interests, nothing more!

I have personally been named Evil, Darkborn, Corruptor, Manipulator, Warlock, Demon, Devil, Hellspawn, and bob-knows-what-not - but I have never ever been so foolish as to think that "they" are correct - to think that I am indeed "evil". Because I am not my own enemy. Because I do not strive for my own self destruction.
Imagine what would happen if I were to walk up to a human and introduce myself as evil; What do you think that human would do? He/she/it would either laugh at me, or fear me - either way I could quickly lose all credibility to get that individual to listen to me and absorb my words. It would be waste and folly. I want to influence my surroundings to accommodate my needs and wishes - one does not do that by telling people you do not give a flying fuck about them.

In other words, by stating clearly for everyone to see that the great sorcerers acclaim Infernal energies and entities and "Black Arts", this text is telling me that it is most likely just the mind spawn of an outcast from the Golden Dawn Society trying to create a cult of his own.

Even if I am wrong, there is no way in any plane of existance that you will get me to believe that this is a genuine text from before the birth of mankind. Foolishness and impetuousness are inventions by human beings, and this text is littered by it. Thus a human created this text, thus it is erroneous to state that it has been available to mankind since the beginning, thus the "Book of Doom" is lying. And then you get to wonder what else in the text is a Lie...

The text is unprofessional and shows every sign of being the product of yet another "Oh I'm so evil"-satanist youngling who has missed the big picture.
Even the name implies child's play; "Book of Doom" - give me a break - Ozzy Ozbourne could have done better than this!
