Not at all. If Nietzsche led the Holocaust, you could blame him. The Catholic Church led the Inquisition and Crusades. Blaming the Church for those two is about the same as blaming Hitler for the Holocaust. Right on target.

I noticed you failed to respond to your religion post. You accused the kid who brought up the crusades, and me, if I'm not mistaken, of accusing only christians of killing people. I suppose you didn't respond because no one ever said only christians kill people so your accusation was completely unfounded.

Maybe this analogy will help. Compare the uberman theory to Juadism and the Nazi ideology to christianity. Nazi ideology should be blamed for the holocaust. They took the uberman theory and interpreted it to their own liking. Roman Catholisism came, much like nazism from the uberman theory, from a modification of juadism. The church can be blamed for the inquisitions and crusades, which they set up and had carried out, although you wouldn't go all the way back and blame the jews for inspiring christianity. At least I hope not.

I didn't say not to blame the Catholic Church for the crusades, simply not Christianity. The Catholic Church didn't invent Christianity, Jesus did. And I was exaggerating about the christians being the only ones who kill people because whenever someone kills people in the name of Christianity you blame all christians, but when atheists kill people it's not really important. Apparently though rather than actually have a discussion you'd prefer to constantly compare me or christians to nazis.

I must not understand what a discussion is. I could have sworn I typed something, then you responded, then I responded, etc.. If that isn't up to par with your version of a discussion, please let me know how I can better myself in the art.

Hmm..I just made sure...I never blamed christianity for the crusades. I concluded the church was to blame. I don't know where your attacks came from or on what grounds they are valid, but you know what a discussion is, so you must be going about it correctly.

A discussion is an open exchange of ideas. An argument is a discussion where people start insulting each other and nothing gets done. When you indicate that I'm a nazi, that's an insult. Hence you're changing this thread from a discussion into an argument.

Well an insult depends on whether you're insulted by it or not, I guess. I'm insulted by the term Nazi but I'm sure you could find some people who aren't.

and if you are going to call some one a nazi you should be able to back it up. nazis are very hateful ppl, and i haven't really met anyone on darkness that i would classify as a nazi.

First off... for the record, I believe in God, and I believe there is Evil... whetherevil is "The Devil" as we know it, I don't know... As far as dying goes... I don't know... I guess I find it a bit more comforting to believe that something happend to us after death. I mean I would really fucking hate to find out that after all this time... after all the heartache, lonliness, betrayal, and all the rest of the shit.... that there is nothing left... I would be devastated... And if all that shit about Purgatory is true... about spending eternity in hell ans stuff is true... then damn I'm afraid what's going to happen to me when God finds out I have questioned him... LOL...
