im glad you pointed that out dyshade now that where talking about agnostic views. there is alot of phenomenon that is unexplainable in our world that being one of them. something you can do own your own is get 6 unsharpened pencils and have two people hold them. each person can hold three have the one pencil parralel too your body and the other two on the ends of the parallel one with the erasers away from you. have the second person do the same thing and then connect the pencils together i wish i could draw it but if you ask the pencils questions they'll answer you with movement up outward and inward all stand for yes no and unsure, ask to see what they are. but anyways my point is that there are alot of things that point to a super natural world. and i said earlier on like page 11 or so that i do believe there are things that govern our reality that are supernatural but of their nature i know nothing of

And if God does exist.... I am going to kick his ass all the way to hell for screwing with my life.... I also have faith in scientific theory.... if only because they prove thier theories every once in a while.... and a theory is fiction until it is proven fact regardless of what logic goes into its creation....... I love theoretical science.... if theory proves fact in the next twenty years we could all be looking at indefenite lifespans..... they just need to lift that human cloning ban.... I need a new liver

I just want to mention that because we do not understand everything, it is inappropriate to label something as supernatural. It impies that we understand nature completely and we understand everything that is natural.

i understand your point, but then what word should i use. one time me and my grandfather were in a truck passing over this bridge that was "haunted" and out of no where came a german shepard barking at the truck, my grandfather was annoyed so he sped up. it turns out the dog kept up with us. the truck hit like 50 miles an hour before we were off the bridge and the dog was barking on the trucks tail the whole way. i believe that there is science that can explain this i believe there are natural laws that can explain what happened. but i dont wanna say this was natural i guess i should say phenomena. anyways i like that you agree that we dont understand nature enough to label something supernatural but at the same time we dont understand nature enough that something we would label paranormal might well be completely natural including the existence of a god. or the existence of life after death.

1930-scores die and 300 are stricken by a mysterious fog in belguim dec-5 no explanation ok heathen from now on we will use the more politically correct term..... paranormal... instead of supernatural.... which by the way means things that occur that are outside of our normal understanding of nature... which in no way connotates an absolute knowledge of nature

You are correct in your defenition of paranormal. The problem is I had a problem with supernatural, not paranormal.

Paranormal means beyond normal while supernatural means beyond nature. I think they are different things.

Thank you for your honest criticism. You would make an excellent professor. My arguments are lacking it appears; I know what i want to say, but i am not saying it properly. However, my faith is not just from "mommy and daddy". I have been thouroughly convinced of what i believe.
Science tells us that matter and energy can be interconverted. Energy can take many forms in and of itself. The amount of energy remains constant in the universe, but not all of it is in the same form. When energy is turned to heat, some of this heat is lost, even though we may harness it to a certain extent. Things such as friction and chemical reactions, etc. all lead to the production of heat. Eventually, even though energy can be converted to matter, the rate of this occurance is not high enough to compete with the rate of matter to energy and energy to heat energy. When energy turns to matter, it becomes more organized-this process itself requires energy. The second law of thermo tells us that all things tend to disorder-to deny this is impossible. Therefore matter is more likely to turn to energy than energy to matter. All in all, energy is turned into heat energy by a large percentage of the reactions and motions in the universe. When this happens, the heat flies out into the universe where it equilibrates and is lost to us. And yes the universe is expanding, making it even harder to save heat.
If all this heat is lost, then the universe becomes dormant- nothig else may happen-no motion, no chemical reaction, no nothing. Since the universe does tend to disorder, and does not deter in principle, then it is incapable of reseting itself or starting itself with a full suply of energy. Something had to do it. See what i mean? To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.

The universe is constantly expanding, we will probably never know its bounderies. Heat energy when lost into the great bounds of the universe becomes lost to us, yes. There are endless supplies of the stuff though. Energy is infinite.... we just do not know how to tap into those infinite resources. I remember when everyone thought nuclear power was the end all. We used to think that it would become the power source of the future. Solar power is where the future is. We just need to figure out how to harness it. Photovolteic cells work quite well with a battery bank to store the power; but do not harness quite enough. You could light your entire house and run a small water pump with only two small photovolteic cells. Of course we still need that large boost to run our radios and televisions... as well as our computers. But could you imagine what a whole mountainside of photovolteic cells could do.... its damn spendy though.

"My dear people,we are already the children of God but what we are to be in the future has not yet been revealed; all we know is, that we shall be like him because we shall see him as he really is." '1 John 3:1/2----- is this supposed to mean that we are isomorphic with God...... "we shall be like him"..... not under him or worshipful of him but "like him" so we are all gods we just do not realize it yet.... this passage is taken directly from the new testement....

Just wanted to clear something up...The second law of thermodynamics states that in a closed system things tend to go towards entropy, or less order. It is very debatable if the universe is a closed or open system. I'm reading Hawking's A Brief History Of Time as we speak, or, uh, post. I'll get back to you later with more physcics fun.
